Chapter 284 – The Fall of Fukasaku and Shima

On the projection, Fukasaku and Shima were the first to lash out.
But Uchiha Yuta, the Fifth Hokage, only sneered with disdain.
"Being a dog requires the awareness of being a dog. Don't bark out of turn."

"Fifth Hokage Uchiha Yuta, don't get arrogant! The power of the Great Toad Sage is beyond your comprehension!"
Their voices trembled with fury.
Never in all their centuries had they been humiliated like this, in front of the entire shinobi world. To be treated as if Mount Myōboku were nothing… even the Great Toad Sage himself was being dragged into the mud.

Yuta ignored them, shifting his gaze upward to where the Great Toad Sage's massive form loomed silently on the projection, his ancient eyes fixed coldly upon him.
Though the sage had yet to speak, the air itself trembled under his presence.
Yuta's lips curled.
"Great Toad Sage? No… from this day on, you should be called the Great Dog Sage."
The words were delivered calmly, almost lazily—yet they struck like thunder.
The entire shinobi world froze. Silence spread like wildfire.
No one had expected that Uchiha Yuta would strip the Great Toad Sage of all dignity in front of every village and every clan, calling him a mere dog of the Sage of Six Paths.
Even the Kage, even those at the peak of power, had always spoken cautiously before the Great Toad Sage.
But the Fifth Hokage gave him no face.

Shima's fury ignited, her Senjutsu chakra flaring violently as if she would strike then and there.
In their long lifetimes, they had never seen such defiance. Not only refusing to respect the Great Toad Sage—but trampling him, dragging his name through the mud before all creation.
And worse—renaming him "Great Dog Sage."
The shame was unbearable.

Those words sent a ripple of unease through the world.
Even the Great Toad Sage's brows furrowed slightly. He suddenly sensed danger.
"Be careful—!" the Great Toad Sage warned.
But it was too late.

From the massive projection itself, Uchiha Yuta's chakra erupted—twin blasts of Six Paths power, vast enough to tear heaven and earth apart, surged forth.
"Not good!"
"Great Toad Sage, save us!!"
Fukasaku and Shima paled, panic flashing in their ancient eyes.
"Damn it!"
The Great Toad Sage's chakra surged, but before he could act, the two attacks bent space itself—disappearing in one instant and reappearing the next, directly before Fukasaku and Shima.
"Wha—?!"
They had no chance to dodge.
Even with Senjutsu chakra pouring from their bodies, the twin blasts tore through them mercilessly.
BOOM! BOOM!
The explosions shook the skies.
Fukasaku and Shima's bodies were shredded in an instant, their anguished cries cut short as blood and fragments scattered into nothingness.
Two of Mount Myōboku's proudest sages—destroyed before the eyes of the entire shinobi world.
