š CORE SYSTEM ā Power Through Will and Regret
Tagline:
"The will to live. The regret of dying. What you choose becomes the power you bear."

š® 1. Core System Overview
In this world, humans have the ability to awaken a Core, a magical construct born out of a moment of intense desireāeither to survive or to start anew.
There are two types of Cores:
---
š„ 2. Living Will Core (LWC)
Origin: Triggered in a near-death experience where the individual desperately wishes to live.
Effect: Miracles occur. The person survives through temporary supernatural means. Their core remains dormant afterward but can grow stronger with repeated brushes with death.
Examples:
Gains the ability to breathe underwater when drowning.
A broken body suddenly repairs just enough to let them crawl to safety.
Time slows down for a few seconds to dodge an incoming truck.
Long-Term Growth:
The user can train their core to respond again, turning near-death instincts into controlled supernatural powers.
Powers tend to be instinctive, fast, adaptive, and based on reactive miracles.

𩸠3. Dying Will Core (DWC)
Origin: Formed after actual death, when the person, despite giving up on life, feels deep regret and a yearning to redo things.
Effect: The individual dies fully and is reborn in the past, usually as themselves (or rarely, in someone else's body), with no memory of their former life.
Hidden Advantage: A dormant power is embedded in them. When they face death again, it unleashes itself for the first time.
Powers:
More raw, destructive, or heavy.
Examples:
A musician who died in an accident is reborn with the voice to charm spirits.
A bullied child gains the ability to manipulate time but doesn't know until the same bully nearly kills them again.

š± 4. Seed Core ā The Forbidden Merge
If a person, by fate or anomaly, awakens both cores, the Living Will and Dying Will coalesce into a Seed Core. This is extremely rare and leads to godlike transformations:
šµ 4A. Immortal Seed
Path of Growth.
The individual becomes immortal in terms of aging. They live hundreds of years.
They gain powers that evolve with time ā time-walking, soul fusion, healing others.
Still mortal to unnatural deaths.
ā« 4B. Dead Reaper Seed
Path of Death.
The individual becomes a Reaper of Regrets ā able to see death, cut fate lines, or devour lost souls.
They can control death but are doomed to die eventually.
Their existence becomes a question: Are they alive, or dead with a mission?

š 5. Mechanics of Power Activation
Core Type Trigger Initial Power Form Long-Term Growth
Living Will Near-death with desperate will Miracle instinct Reflex-based powers, adaptivity
Dying Will Actual death with regret Power surge in second life Hidden potential, eventual mastery
Seed Core Both cores awakened World-bending transformation Near-godhood or reaper fate

𧬠6. Power Categories by Personality/Death Type
Each power can take a form related to their wish or regret, such as:
Elemental (fire, water, shadow, wind)
Temporal (time-loop, reversal, foresight)
Spiritual (soul binding, spectral clones)
Emotional (fear projection, hope amplification, regret absorption)
Fate-based (probability bending, destiny rewriting)

š 7. Story Ideas and Themes
A boy who drowned and wished to live suddenly develops gills, but only when terrified.
A girl who died in a fire is reborn with the power to control flamesābut doesn't realize it until the same scenario repeats.
A man who awakens both cores becomes a Dead Reaper with the mission to collect those with unresolved regretsābut every soul he reaps takes away a piece of his own.
A warlord with a Seed Core tries to manipulate fate to become truly immortal by consuming other cores.

šļø 8. Philosophy and Conflict
What does it mean to deserve a second chance?
Is regret stronger than hope?
What happens when people try to artificially trigger their core?
Can someone break their core and lose their power forever?
Do Seed Core wielders become monsters or saviors?
