Cherreads

Chapter 7 - The Bloody Ball

"Are you pleased, my lords?" Kya tried to not bite her lower lip in nervousness, lest she spoil her lipstick. Instead, her tongue tested the fangs she now sported. She stood before Lucarick and Arcen, clad in her costume, wearing her collar and the amethyst necklace. Having just finished working the glamour, she slowly turned for their delectation and approval.

They all gathered in the room given to her; baby blue walls, white trim. Light, airy, girly, complete with a bed she had yet to sleep in, since she spent alternating her nights with Luca and Arcen. They sat on the bed, looking at their adorable pet all dressed up for the night.

The amethyst-colored confection she wore was meant for a pet; but in the guise of a Vampire noble, Kya exuded a sultry eagerness. The bodice she wore, sheer enough that her nipples showed through, stained cherry red and unable to be missed. The skirt, while not as sheer, did nothing to hide her trim legs or do anything to dispel the urge to seek a glimpse of the secrets hiding behind the front scrap of material. The mask, styled in a way where her scarlet red hair blended into the ears, giving the appearance of her hair being part of the furry ears. As the glamour shifted her eye color, the sheer violet silk covering the eye holes of the mask were removed, allowing unencumbered sight.

"I must say, my dear, you do look fetching as a redhead." Luca practically purred his approval. "Your height works with that costume, as you increased your torso length. I can't picture pulling it off with a proper gown, however. Smile for me, will you? I want to see your blood teeth."

She did, and he grinned, pleased with her fangs. "Oh yes, you look quite fetching indeed."

"Is it official then? In this guise, you are our naughty cousin Celeste, returned from her banishment?" Arcen asked. "It would give you much more leeway for moving about freely, than if you were a pet. None but the very stupid would dare speak down to a Baden."

"Am I to be your cousin who decided to dress as a pet? Is that something one of the nobility would do?" Kya asked, unsure this would work. Surely she would stick out like a sore thumb, pretending to be a noble dressed as a plaything.

Arcen answered. "There are some, my dear, who seek thrills for whatever reason, and they do so in their own fashion. It's not unheard of for a naughty minx to advertise her want to be naughty and looking for playmates by dressing the part. However, they usually forgo the neckguard."

"That said, if you choose to wear the guise of a Baden, we need a story. Dearest Celeste was banished for some unspeakable sin and is now back, but forbidden from speaking of her crime or exile. Born on the wrong side of the blanket, but we recognize our own. You may flirt as you like, my dear, as it will be expected of a noble. But absolutely no one may touch you; you are reserved for House Baden alone."

"Am I to be your smitten cousin, who longs for your embraces?" Kya didn't dare try to push boundaries, grateful for whatever leeway she got, but she didn't want to be left alone in a nest of bloodsuckers. If the price to assure her safety was to hang off the arms of the twins, so be it.

Luca grinned. "Are you willing to be embraced before all? We can say you lost a bet, and since you arrived, we gave you our Singularity's costume to wear while she sulks at home, alone and miserable to be deprived of her first ball, let alone masked ball. Be our happy-to-be-debauched, naughty bitch of a cousin this night. I'm curious as to how you'll play the role."

"What of the king? He'll see the necklace and know the truth." While the king's attitude softened toward Kya once she pledged revenge against his longtime antagonist, she didn't trust him as far as she could throw him-- which is to say not at all.

"He's very likely to play along, my dear. This sort of perverse game will very much appeal to him. He'll croon about his delightful niece while asking her to do all indecent things. His favorite part of such balls is the debauchery itself. Be wary. You cannot ignore him, but I'm hesitant to have you around him... you will prove enticing."

"Oh, Brother.... that may lead to an issue." Arcen muttered. "If she's acting as a Baden, then if he asks her to sit upon his knee...or anything else..."

Luca sighed as he considered the options. "You'll have to play along. I don't think he'd go much further than that, though. He prefers willing playmates."

Kya drew a deep breath before asking, "But if he does want... more?"

"You are free to play along. It absolutely and utterly galls me, but I would grudgingly encourage it... If you call yourself Baden this night, then you are subject to the whims of the Baden patriarch. It would be foolish to goad him in a public venue by defying him openly. If he asks for a kiss, best you give him one."

"Will you stay near me?" Kya asked. While she looked a vampire, she was more than aware she could only pretend and never actually be. Within the Vampire tribe was a strong sense of self-importance, confidence, and arrogance. These things did not come naturally to Kya.

"Arcen shall. I, unfortunately, must dance attendance upon Lady Ykateryna Ross, as her father, the Duke Rothmeren, keeps broaching the subject of an alliance. They are a powerful house, and I dare not make open enemies of them by spurning their dear spoiled princess openly and with malicious glee, but oh, how that thought tempts me."

While that wasn't wholly unexpected, it still came to a shock to Kya, that Luca could get married off some day. Would Arcen as well? Where would that leave her? Especially since she's being encouraged to grow her fondness for them?

"I have a question, Lord Luca. Why do you need my love?" She kept her chin high. She could ask for clothes, lessons and books... almost anything, but like Hell would she ask for their tender feelings. When Arcen volunteered for the task of acquiring her affection, she felt a sizzle of anger-- why should her love be a task to someone, rather than a gift? Was it such a burden as to be assigned as a task?

To her relief, Luca answered immediately. "The luck bestowed upon a man by a Singularity is the stuff of legend my dear. Unexpected windfalls, enemies self-imploding, reversal of poor fortunes, barren wives coming to fruition... While the Baden family can claim to possess the most power currently of any Vampire clan, truth is that such nebulous things are tenuous at best. I'd like to hedge my bets whenever possible. If your affection for Arcen and possibly I bring such fortunes to the Baden's, then I am pleased and consider you a good investment. A lucky charm, of sorts."

"And if not?" Kya asked, with a twist in her belly. If a Singularity had any such power as luck, then surely she wouldn't have been betrayed and sold at auction.

"Then we find your strength, my dear, and utilize it as best we can. Even if it means fucking you twice daily and three times on Sabbat in order to increase our own attributes. Come, it is time to leave." Luca said it pleasantly, but it irritated Kya enough to change the subject as they made their way down stairs.

"So, as your naughty cousin Celeste, what else may I do? I feel as though I haven't prepared enough to adequately blend in among... all you."

"Have a good time, my dear. Just stay near us, and if you behave yourself, we'll give you a reward when we get home." Arcen replied with a smile. "However you act at functions like this can easily be blamed on your multi-year punishment. Awkward? Quiet? Shy? My dearest, those are the ramifications of being locked in a cell on a dreary little island in the cold North, subsisting off rat blood, or dog if you're lucky. If you're a wallflower taking it all in, it makes perfect sense with the story we've given you."

"Come, the carriage awaits." Luca said as he marched through the great hall toward the double doors leading outside. "Reynard, should any correspondence in the future arrive for my dear cousin Celeste here, take note of the sender then burn it immediately."

"Yes, my lord prince."

Luca swept through the doors, his silver-blue frock emblazoned with white topaz caught and bounced the candlelight onto the obsidian walls. Arcen followed, his coat made of swathes of black, silver, and dark gray silks, giving the sensation of moving shadow, a wicked looking crown of jet upon his head. Kya, in her guise of Celeste, on Arcen's arm.

"For all intents and purposes, I shall be your escort tonight. Luca has things relating to being the heir to attend beyond Rothmeren's irritating daughter."

Once the three of them were situated in the driver and horseless coach, it began the hour-long journey down to the city of Poltaris.

As the coach left the castle's road to turn onto the high road leading into the city, the brothers studied their creation.

"Nervous, my dear?" Arcen asked, curious as Kya's quiet demeanor would certainly stand out among Vampire nobility. Although he tried reassuring her, in his heart he knew that she would be a topic of much discussion tonight. Why did Lucarick suggest elevating her for the night to the status of noble? Was it boredom? Irritation at her? Why would he do this?

Kya closed her eyes, breathed deep then answered. As she spoke, Kya adopted the Celeste persona, which she and Aneth worked on during the afternoon in a crash course in Vampire etiquette. "A bit, dear Cousin Arcie, but I'm sure I'll manage. If you see me going astray, please correct me. I like oh so very much when you correct me in that special way of yours." She then batted her eyes with an impish smile upon her lips.

Luca smirked. "Oh, I'm enjoying this already."

"Are you, Cousin Lukie?" Kya looked down at her barely-there bodice before raising her gaze to Luca's, looking up at him through her lashes. "You don't think I'll draw too much unwanted attention dressed as your naughty little puppy as I take your pet's place for the night?" Kya batted her eyes. No longer the regal amethyst color, the glamour spell made them deep indigo blue with golden speckles, looking like the night sky.

Luca's teal eyes narrowed in pleasure. "Do play coy some more, my dear. It's adorable."

Kya moved from her seat across from the brothers, to sitting between them. "But what if I don't want to be coy? What if I want to be your naughty, sinful cousin who really doesn't repent her crime? Exile is lonesome, you know."

"Then by all means, be naughty, Celeste. We shan't hold you back when you're so adorably provocative." Luca replied. "You have your freedom this night. Taste it well."

"I want a necklace of love bites, my princely cousins. Mark my skin." She leaned back, thrusting her chest out, creating a gap between the gold leaf-covered leather neckguard which covered her throat to the tops of her shoulders, and the very low neckline of the sheer bodice. Her necklace and collar sat atop the leather; the necklace laying atop the collar, hiding it.

With lecherous grins, the brothers obliged, leaving bruise after bruise lined up in the borderlands between the neckguard's bottom and the bodice's top. As they breathed and sucked their way across her chest, Kya felt that longing sensation growing between her thighs again. When Arcen delved into her depths earlier, it felt... so good. Would it feel as good with Luca?

The persona of Celeste was much more forward than Kya, as she draped a shapely leg over each of the brother's knees, spreading herself wide. Searching out their hands, she placed Arcen's on her breast, and Luca's between her thighs as they continued to leave hickies across her decolletage.

The brothers took her hint and began playing with her eager flesh.

Arcen paused to ask, "More debauching, my dear? Was earlier not enough for you?"

"Yessss... Debauch me more, my lords."

With eagerness, they did as requested, until the carriage rolled into the flagstone courtyard of Cairnbreen, King Glennic's castle in Poltaris; Seat of the Vampire leg of the Trifecta.

The carriage stopped before a grand staircase leading into the immense white marble castle, glowing with torch light. The door swung open, and Luca exited first with a look of concern, before holding out a hand to aid Celeste, as Arcen followed behind.

When they reached the top of the stairs, the Majordomo called out into the throne room, "His Highness Prince Lucarick, His Highness Prince Arcen, and guest."

Arcen whispered to the Majordomo who hurriedly called out, "Lady Celeste Baden of Crainigmore."

All gathered turned their eyes to the newcomers walking down the wide staircase into the room. Lucarick led the way, his costume glittering like freshly fallen snow, while Arcen clad in shadowy silks walked with Celeste on his arm, easily drawing all eyes to the unknown element of the Baden clan.

She stood out, not only in her provocative garb, but in the way she sauntered in her tiny pointy shoes, hips swaying, the mischievous lilt to her eyes, and the half-smirking grin plastered to her face. Everything about her screamed "I love good times!" especially the small creamy trail of bodily fluids running down the inside of her leg, a visual and olfactory confirmation of her thorough debauching in the carriage.

The trio approached the throne, a sleek seat of polished obsidian cushioned with plump, crimson velvet pillows. The king sat there, dressed as a warlord in black leathers, bare chested, and wearing but a simple, sheer black half-mask that hid nothing. His garnet hair unbraided, hung like a lions mane around his angular face.

Celeste scanned the large room, noting around the perimeter, small room-like alcoves; some had couches, some had beds, some had drapes for privacy and some had the goings-on within on full display. Moans and cries of pleasure blended with the music wafting from the gallery above. One of the larger alcoves had a dozen or so pets available to guests to feed from.

The king observed their approach, a small smile upon his lips. "Where is the demure Singularity you promised to bring?" His eyes flicked to the tall, graceful redhead standing at the foot of the throne, her chin angled with a hint of defiance and a healthy measure of arrogance. It brought a grin to his face.

"At home, sulking. You recall Cousin Celeste, don't you, Father? Her exile is finally over and she's staying at Cairn Baden with us for the foreseeable future." This wasn't said just for the King's benefit, but for those who lingered around the King who would in turn gossip about the conversation. The King's confirmation of a Celeste Baden would ensure her ease of socializing.

Glennic's jaded eye scanned the willowy form, dressed in scandalously sheer fabric, a line of fresh love bites clearly visible along the neckline. A gold colored leash attached to the rear of her belt, slung over her arm casually.

"And how does your delightful little Singularity feel about that, with your cousin raiding her jewels and presumably costume?"

"I'm sure she'll recover from her disappointment. We played a game, my Kingly Uncle, and I won. I get her costume, jewels, and men for the night. And Lukie and Arcie said that if I behave tonight, I'll get a reward from them both." She grinned wide, flashing her fangs. "And I do so love to be rewarded by them, you know."

"Smells like you were well rewarded on the way here, my dear. Glennic's eyes skimmed her body, lingering on her breasts before smirking at the rest of her costume. "And dearest, sweetest Celeste... you would dress as a wolf? All that time in exile, and still no shame."

"Oh no, my royal Uncle! I am a cute and adorable lapdog eagerly anticipating petting. The dolt was supposed to be a wolf since she smells like one. I, however, am made of finer stuff."

"Ah, be nice to her, for she is in my favor. And you... you shall regain my favor as well. Go, dance and make merry. And when you're ready for a break, do come back to my side and keep me entertained with your delightful self."

Arcen escorted her to the dance floor as the next melody started. "Are you ready?"

"I am. I recognize this tune as the one my dancing master preferred." She followed his lead, gliding around the room to the beat of the music, whirling and smiling.

Arcen pulled her close and whispered to her, "You're doing very well."

She flashed him a smile. "Thank you."

"Are you enjoying yourself so far?"

"I am." Her eyes glanced around the room, noting how many people were looking their way. "Although it seems I'm a topic of gossip at the moment."

"To be expected, my dear. You're new blood in a pool of jaded souls. All they know about you is that you carry the Baden name, that the king has no issue with you, and that you enjoy scandal, given the way you dress."

"I haven't done much to warrant their attentions other than walk into the room."

"You're that exciting, my dear Cousin. Tell me, did you enjoy earlier?"

"Which earlier, Arcie? This morning or in the carriage? This morning was delightful and the carriage as well."

"Do you have a preference for Luca or I?"

That question almost made her slip from the Celeste persona. "I haven't decided yet. Both your cocks stuff me quite well."

Her pithy comment made Arcen laugh aloud. "Ah, you are a delight, Cousin Celeste."

As the music came to a stop, two young noblemen approached Arcen and Celeste. The taller of the two spoke first. "I am Baron Brenn Kelnave. May I have your next dance, Lady Baden?"

Celeste pursed her lips then pouted. "Alas, I cannot. As you can see by my garb, tonight I am being punished and am my dear cousins' pet, for their pleasure only. Perhaps the next ball, if you don't mind?"

Celeste's answer took him by surprise, eliciting a raised eyebrow. "Next time, then."

Her two would-be suitors walked off, leaving Arcen to whisper into her ear, "If you wish to dance with others, you may do so."

She whispered back, "I only intend on dancing with you and Luca tonight."

"If that is what my lady wishes, then so be it." He replied with a smile. "Would you like something to drink?"

She shook her head. "If I get tipsy, I shall fall over in these shoes. Such heels were not a part of my exile."

"Would you like a break then?"

She heaved a sigh as she watched the dancers swirling around the room. "Then I must dance attendance upon your father and I'm not sure I'm ready for that."

"You can get it over and done with now, you know. Just... make sure you give him face. He won't forget a slight, intentional or perceived."

"That's good to know."

Luca joined Arcen and Celeste. "How are you doing, my dear?"

"Very well, Cousin Lukie." She smiled up into his face. "Do I get a dance with you tonight?"

He leaned in and spoke low. "If not tonight, I'll happily dance in bed with you all day tomorrow. Ah, you look so charming as you blush. How delightful that someone as jaded as you can still elicit such a response, sweet Celeste."

"Were you me, you'd blush at the thought of Cousin Lukie's cock filling you full, too."

That made Arcen burst out laughing, drawing the eye of those in their proximity.

"I'm glad someone is enjoying himself." Luca muttered.

"Lady Ross giving you grief?"

"I have yet to find the wench, not that I'm looking for her." He heaved a sigh. "Come, let us speak with Father and then we can decide when we're ready to leave. These parties are tedious."

Once again the trio made their way to the throne where Glennic lounged. His eyes lit up at the approach of his sons and their supposed cousin.

"Come, sweet little Celeste, come sit on my knee and tell me of how you've been since the last time I saw you. My, how you have grown, my dear. Be my adorable little lapdog and get comfortable on me."

Drawing a deep breath, Celeste give Luca and Arcen a wink before settling herself on the king's knee. The king's arm wrapped around her waist to pull her from his knee and onto his lap, his other hand holding the leash attached to her belt. Addressing his sons, he spoke loudly. "Go, I shall keep her safe, right here. Ross' daughter has been looking for you, Lucarick. And the Margrave of Gilniki has been searching for you, Arcen. Best not keep them waiting. I won't let Celeste wander off without you."

Each wore a frown as they bowed to their father, before grudgingly searching out the Duke's daughter and the Margrave. Despite their distance from the throne, they both kept an eye on their pet.

"Ah, that buys us some time, my dear, delightful, sinful Celeste." The king lowered his voice to whisper into her ear. "So, you discovered the glamour spell. Very good. Do you know what else is woven into your amethyst?"

She leaned back to whisper in return, "I do not, Sire. Will you tell me?"

King Glennic grinned. "Oh, I shall more than tell you. The most significant of the spells is a certain type of binding... when you orgasm, the gems in the necklace hold the power you release, storing it. So wear it, my dear, every time you frolic. Which ever of my sons you fall for... give him the gift of its release. Make that man powerful. So powerful, none dare scheme against House Baden. That, my dear, is the gift I give you to give my offspring. Wag your tail for me, will you?"

She did as he asked, all the while grinning with a glee she didn't truly feel as she lifted her rump to sway her hips from side to side, the tail brushing against his groin. "Uncle, that is quite generous!" Sitting back down, she could feel him hardening between her cheeks. Taking a deep breath, Kya focused on playing the role of naughty Celeste by gyrating her hips against his bulge.

"Oh, I do so enjoy when you're generous with me, my dear. Be a good girl for me... Oh, my. Is your costume supposed to do that?" His voice filled with delight. The tail lifted when he said those magic words, Celeste's bare posterior on display to the lecherous king's eyes. Glennic reached out to fondle her round cheeks, his fingers brushing against her femininity time and again, but never venturing deeper.

"Have they broken you in yet, my dear?"

"They are, ummmmm, easing into it, Uncle."

"About time. Tell me what naughtiness you were up to on your way here, for I see your petals are swollen in excitement."

With a deep sigh of resignation, Celeste leaned back against the king's chest, turned her head and began to whisper, filling his ears with how she was fucked twice by each of them, then she licked them clean before they brought her to a wailing finish just as they pulled into the castle.

As she spoke, she moved her hips as she sat on Glennic's lap. His hands busied themselves by cupping and caressing her breasts, in full view of the gathering. Not all noticed, but those who glanced the King's way saw a graceful redheaded woman openly enjoying the King's attentions. Some were amused.

But not all.

"Why are your eyes on the Scarlet Harlot?" Lady Ykateryna asked with a jaundiced eye toward the antics of the king and his niece. She dressed in sleek black silk, a cat mask hiding her face except for her bright aquamarine colored eyes and always-frowning ruby lips.

"You dare say that about someone of House Baden and expect us to be civil to you?" Luca replied coolly, angered to have been sent away to tend this irritating bitch when Kya's costume of Celeste was too damn convincing. It angered Luca to see her perched on his father's lap, bouncing and grinding against him as they speak. Worst part is his father's lecherous expression, darting from Celeste's bosom, to her passion-flushed face as he toyed with her. At least he was playing along with the game. One word from the King and it would be all over for Kya, torn apart and feasted upon by the King's whim.

Lady Ykateryna looked up into Luca's somber face. "I don't expect much, but why is she carrying on like that with your father?"

"Dear, naughty Celeste is celebrating freedom, Lady Ykateryna. As the King is a part of that freedom, no doubt he asked for a sample of its... perks."

Her eyes narrowed. "Why do you glower so as you watch her? She's not your pet, is she?" The ugly feeling swirling around inside Lady Ykateryna made her hostile to any who caught Lord Lucarick's attentions, and right now his attentions were fully on his hussy of a cousin.

"She's not. She got to come to the ball, but had to dress in the most demeaning way possible as that was the only costume that fit her on such short notice."

"You didn't answer my question, my lord. Why are you glowering? Why do you care what the stupid twit does?"

"Twice, now, you've sullied the Baden name. Do it again, my dear, and see your Father's stock drop to the point you won't have a dowry."' It was bad enough that the king had interest in her-- no doubt his offer to purchase her from them being genuine. Luca regretted telling Kya to play along with any of the king's requests. This... this was torture.

His biting reply made her mouth shut with a snap. However, her unflinching gaze plainly asked for an answer.

"Shall we have a dance, my lady? Provided you keep House Baden out of your mouth?" He lead her to the dance floor, taking their places as the next song started.

"Is there something you would prefer to put in my mouth, my lord?" She asked with a smile.

He thought a moment. "Yes. A red hot poker comes to mind. Failing that, acid. Anything to quell your poisonous tongue. Any time you speak, I wish to be deaf and bemoan the fact you know I can hear well enough."

She pretended not to be offended. "Oh, I didn't know you had such proclivities, my lord."

He tried not to sighed yet failed. "Only where you are concerned, my lady."

"Do you truly find me so repugnant? You can't even look at me as we dance... you keep looking at her."

Lucarick scoffed. "Jealous? And yes. I have yet to find a quality of yours that isn't based on irritation and dislike."

"Jealous? Of her? She dresses like a pet on display. There isn't much to be jealous of when it comes to edible spunkbuckets and those pretending to be one."

"Fascinating to know the extent of your vocabulary, my lady. And she's playing the role well, too, or have you not noticed? Quite the little lapdog." He smirked with a joy he didn't feel. There was a sense of foreboding that started in the carriage. No matter how many times Kya was brought to pleasure, there was no release of energy which he found alarming. Was there not enough arousal? Did something shift her perception of them? Did... did she dislike them, thus deny them her power? A side effect of the glamour spell? It was a puzzle to solve.

As they danced around the room, Lady Ykateryna replied, "I've noticed she has no shame. Can hear her moan like a whore all the way over here."

That stopped Luca in his tracks. "Well, I think I'm done dancing for the evening. Do have a not-too-terrible life, Lady Ykateryna. I reject the Duke's offer for an alliance." Luca bowed before stalking his way to the throne to put an end to the king's playtime with Celeste, leaving his dance partner stranded in the middle of whirling bodies.

Lady Ykateryna's eyes narrowed as she watched the play of anger wash over Luca's face while he marched toward his slutty cousin.

Luca gritted his teeth with every step he made closer to the throne. King Glennic thrust his hips upward, bouncing Celeste on his lap, her face red. From embarrassment? Shame? Pleasure? Luca wasn't sure, but what he did know is that it infuriated him that his father would dare abuse what was his.

"Ah, sweet Celeste, looks like our fun ends now. Lucarick, she is invited to any and all gatherings, but I forbid her from coming with your pet. Bring one or the other but not both. Let them fight to see who gets to come." Glennic pushed her off his lap, snapped his fingers and called out to a collared young woman standing behind the throne, clad in a sheer pink caftan that left nothing to the imagination. "Marielle, finish me off, if you will."

The young woman unlaced his pants and slid down his erection, riding him as the king spoke to his son. "She shall tell you of the secrets within the amethyst. Remember, sweet Celeste, you don't have much time." He held her gaze as he climaxed. His pet climbed off his lap to clean him properly.

Luca grabbed her by the arm and dragged her to an empty curtained alcove. He pushed her to a couch before sitting down and pulling her onto his lap, holding her tight.

She tilted her head down and whispered. "I'm sorry." Gods, how the King made a plaything out of her before all! The King didn't ask for a kiss; he asked her to cum for him! A sense of shame sank deep into her bones, tinged with fear of what Luca or Arcen would do. They warned her of their father's debauchery, but even then, she wasn't prepared to have her senses lit up by someone she feared.

Luca drew a calming breath. "You have nothing to apologize for. I put you in this situation. It is I who owes you an apology for subjecting you to that...that reprobate."

"It's going to get worse, Lord Luca." Kya dropped the Celeste act and spoke with terror evident in her voice. "He told me of the spells woven into this necklace. Him... doing all that... was the price I paid to know what all the necklace can do. Do you see how the black amethyst is developing a star in the center?"

Luca's eyes flicked down to see asterism forming in the crystal. "I see it."

She grabbed him by the lapel and whispered in his ear, "That means my Maiden's blood is here." Panic echoed in her horrified whisper. "I'm going to start bleeding... everyone will smell it... what shall I do?" The thought of hundreds of vampires feasting upon her in a blood lust flooded her mind.

The shock on Luca's face matched the horror on Kya's. "Summon Arcen. We will need his help."

Kya touched the delicate collar she wore and spoke in her mind but one word. Arcen.

In a poof of gray mist, Arcen arrived in the little curtained alcove, perplexed. He took one look at Kya curled on Luca's lap and asked, "What's wrong? What happened?"

Before Luca could answer, Kya spoke up in a hoarse whisper, her voice wavering. "My Maiden's Blood is going to arrive any moment."

Arcen's emerald eyes widened at the implication. "We need to get you out of here before it starts."

Luca's nose twitched. The intoxicating coppery scent was faint, but still detectable. "Too late for that. Can you take her to the North Tower? I'll meet you there. And if I can't get there by eleven-thirty, you do your thing and get her home. I'll follow behind as quickly as possible."

Luca stood up and handed Kya to Arcen, who cradled her protectively against his chest. "Try not to take too long. We need to get out of here before midnight."

Arcen closed his eyes, shifting himself and Kya into a sliver of shadow that creeped along the floor and wall, out of the throne room, down a maze of hallways, stairways and a hidden path, When he finally reached the top of the secluded North Tower, Arcen dropped the shadow form and set Kya down. Glancing about the room, Kya noted four immense windows, one in each wall, giving a view over all of Poltaris and into the surrounding countryside. Furnished with a couch, a desk and chair, and a small table, it looked to be an office of sorts.

Arcen held her close. "I know you are scared. None may harm you. We will never let that happen."

Kya shivered. "What if someone smelled us on our way here?"

"I obscured our path. We just need to wait for Luca. Here, sit... and...shall I tend you?"

Kya felt puzzled as she sat on the couch. "Tend?"

He tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "You didn't forget the conversation about free flowing blood? Surely you don't want your skirt stained."

Kya's cheeks darkened to a ruddy pink as a body-wide blush made itself seen. "I, um haven't forgotten. I'm just... mortified, my lord. You will do as you will, but I have a question first."

"Ask, dear Kya."

She drew a cleansing breath. "Why is gaining my affection a task to you?"

A look of shock flinched on his face before he asked, "What do you mean?"

"When you and Lord Luca were talking earlier, after you, after we..."

"Ah, that. The offended tone you used when you said task... I take it you did not care for my phrasing. It's not a task, such as an onerous chore. But something to be done well. I'm not one for forcing things. If you disdain me, then I must work harder to be seen favorably by you. And since you aren't really one for opening up, I must assume I still have work to do to gain your favor."

Kya pressed her lips together, pondering his words. "What do you get out of it, besides a physical release and power increase? Or is that all you require?"

"As Luca said, there are benefits of being in the favor of one such as yourself. I'm a second son -- a twin at that. Everything I received, my brother did too, lest the heir be slighted. You, my dearest Kya, are the one thing that I could potentially have all to myself. Of course, I'm realistic enough to know that there's potential that you may prefer Luca, or neither of us. Regardless, the offer stands: if you want affection, I'm happy to give it to you. That said, I must tend to you, Kya. The scent of blood grows stronger."

His words filled her with confusion. "You don't feel like a doll being manhandled by a child to kiss another doll?"

"Is that what you feel?"

"A little bit. While you've both been kind and considerate of me, there's a feeling of deep worry for me. That everything feels temporary. That I'm not quite being ordered to love one if not both of you. Love cannot be forced, and that has me concerned."

"Even if you never love us, the fact that your ability to affect the attributes of others is still a gift, although today that's been pushed to the limit. How are you feeling after all that in the carriage?"

"I felt fine until the King told me of the spells in the amethyst. Ooof!" Kya could feel the trickle of blood starting to emerge from her body. "I am so mortified."

He knelt between her knees, gently spreading them. "I realize this is new territory for you." Arcen bent down to sniff between her thighs. "May I please you, Kya?"

"Do as you will, Lord Arcen."

"When it's us alone, simply call me Arcen, my dear." With that said, he began to lick away her free-flowing blood with a groan of pleasure.

So dirty! But the relief immense. The only thing that made the interaction with the king bearable was pretending the hands that touched her being Luca's while the groin pressing into her flesh, Arcen's. Twice the King had stimulated her to climax, and yet he kept pressing against her until Luca thankfully interrupted.

Arcen's tongue swirled inside her. Her knees hung over his shoulders as he licked and sucked away her Maiden's Blood. He pulled away and asked in a husky voice, "There's something I've always wanted to try... will you let me?"

"Will it feel good? I love when you make me feel good, Arcen."

"That is the goal, my dearest Kya." He leaned down and kissed her pouting femininity. He began to shift into a shadow, sliding into her sheathe, bit by bit, until he filled her, his shadowy tongue delving so deep into her, sucking away all remnants he could.

When Luca entered the top room of the North Tower, he found Kya still in the guise of Celeste, sprawled on the couch, legs spread and knees bent, while a shadowy form pulsed inside her, a shadow tentacle wrapped around her pleasure nub, each movement making her writhe in pleasure. Mask off her face, tears filled her eyes, making them glisten as she held out her arms to Luca.

"Kiss me, my lord!"

That was all the invitation he needed, so aroused by the mess she presented. His mouth ravaged hers, her hand went for his pants to cup his arousal, but he gently swatted it away so he could unlace his pants and free himself. She wrapped her fingers around him, breaking their kiss to whisper to Luca, "I want to taste this again."

"Careful of your fangs, my dear. Ah yes... just like that." As another wave of pleasure pulsed through Kya, she moaned around Luca's cock. As the wave of delight washed over her and faded away, she intensified her efforts to bring Luca to completion.

After he poured himself down her throat, Luca tidied himself and said, "Arcen, you've had your fun. We need to leave now that Celeste has been utterly and thoroughly debauched this night."

The shadowy mass began to pour forth from her darkness, reforming into Arcen lying between her thighs, his mouth still on her feminine flesh. With a final lick, he finally spoke. "Very well. How shall we do this?"

"I'll take the carriage. You take the direct route." Luca's eyes flicked toward the window. "You can still do that, right?"

Arcen smirked as his emerald eyes gleamed. "Child's play."
