"You mean Yugito? She's in the kitchen with Kin and Rin cooking right now."
Kushina said this with a smile, pointing toward the kitchen, "See? The one with the cat ears is Yugito, the one with black hair is Kin, and the one with face paint is Rin."
"Oh! Oh!"
Fu listened to Kushina's explanation, but her eyes kept darting back and forth between Yugito's and Kin's outfits.
Both of them were wearing the maid uniforms designed by Aoba.
She had never seen clothes like that before, and her eyes instantly lit up. She thought they looked really pretty.
Kushina thought Fu was interested in Yugito because she was also a jinchuriki, so she immediately grabbed Fu's hand and pulled her toward the kitchen.
"Come on, I'll take you over to meet them."
"Kushina, don't stir things up in the kitchen," Tsunade couldn't help reminding the restless Kushina.
They had both died once already, yet that personality of hers was still the same, not even a little calmer.
"It'll be fine, it'll be fine, I'm just taking Fu to say hi."
Kushina waved her hand, already dragging Fu into the kitchen.
Tsunade didn't say anything else. Her gaze shifted to Aoba, who was being surrounded by a group of big sisters.
There was a hint of thoughtfulness in her expression.
"Hello, I'm Fu from Takigakure. Can you be my friend?", Fu held out her hand to Yugito.
Yugito, who had been watching the soup, blinked, then frowned.
She didn't say a word.
"Yugito, she's just like you, she's a jinchuriki. And you two are going to be living together from now on," Kushina helped introduce her.
"I know," Yugito's face stayed cold. Shizune had told them about this as soon as she returned.
"Then you—"
"I don't want to be her friend," Before Kushina could finish, Yugito cut in with a cold voice, then looked back at the bubbling chicken soup.
"Eh? Why?", Kushina hadn't expected that.
Fu's expression was also full of surprise. Since coming to Konoha, this was the first time someone had refused to be her friend.
It made her a little sad.
"Hmph! No reason," Yugito let out a cold snort.
'Letting this little girl move into the Senju compound… anyone with eyes can tell what that bastard is thinking.'
'Unbelievable. He already has so many, yet he is still looking for other girls outside.'
'And if he really likes it darker then, isn't… isn't Mabui right here?'
'Why go looking outside?'
'Hmph!'
'Next time I massage him, I'll just press harder.'
The more she thought about it, the darker Yugito's expression became.
Her face looked so fierce that even Kushina didn't quite understand.
'Why does it feel like Yugito holds such a grudge against Fu?'
'This is their first time meeting, right?'
"Fu, did you know Yugito before?"
Fu shook her head, looking aggrieved, "I don't know her."
She also had no idea why this fellow jinchuriki big sister seemed to dislike her.
"Don't mind her. Yugito's just like that."
"Ah?", Fu blinked at Kin, who had walked over.
Kin politely bowed and introduced herself, "Hello, I'm Lord Aoba's maid, Kin."
'This girl will surely be one of the future mistresses, so it is definitely right to build good relations early.'
Honestly, in the whole Senju compound, Yugito was the only one she didn't get along with.
"Maid? Not girlfriend?", Fu stared blankly, confused.
"Girlfriend?", Kin instantly liked Fu even more. Holding her cheeks shyly, she said, "Do we look like a couple? Well… it's kind of true. I am Lord Aoba's girlfriend too."
"This…", Fu suddenly had no idea what was going on.
Beside her, Yugito was already showing a look of disdain.
"Stop having a meltdown in here."
Kin snapped out of her dreamy state, "You're the one being rude and scaring her."
"What did you say?", Yugito glared at Kin.
"This, this, this…", Seeing the two of them start getting heated because of her, Fu panicked a little.
Nohara Rin, on the other hand, kept calmly working on what she was doing.
She often helped cook here, so this was normal.
And she knew those two wouldn't really start a fight. If they did, Aoba would punish them.
"Oh! I get it."
Just then Kushina suddenly smacked her palm like she'd figured everything out.
This drew everyone's attention. Even Yugito and Kin looked over.
Kushina had a knowing expression as she spoke to Yugito.
"I totally forgot, Aoba said Yugito is a tsundere."
Crack!
Yugito crushed the ladle in her hand on the spot, glaring at Kushina.
"I am not a tsundere!"
In her heart she was cursing Aoba nonstop, 'Why does that bastard tell everyone everything?'
Fu hid behind Kushina in fear, whispering, "Sister Kushina, what's a tsundere?"
Kushina began to explain, "A tsundere is someone who's cold on the outside but warm on the inside. They act proud and aloof, but deep down they're shy and soft."
"Haha! That really is Yugito."
Kin couldn't help laughing, "She's always talking tough, but if Lord Aoba kisses her, she just melts."
"Kin!"
Yugito was getting angry, her face red, 'Why is this girl also spilling everything?'
"I see."
Fu finally understood and looked at Yugito with a bit of hope, "So Yugito-nee doesn't actually hate me?"
Yugito looked at Fu's innocent face. Her lips pressed together. She turned her face away and still said, "I really hate you!"
Kushina suddenly made an expression like everything made sense.
"Stop bothering me while I'm cooking!"
Yugito burst into full red-flush mode, two cat tails appearing behind her. She grabbed Kushina and Fu and tossed them both out.
"?"
Both of them were stunned. Neither expected to get thrown out.
Kushina brushed the dust off her backside, then pulled Fu toward Aoba, who was still surrounded by big sisters, and started asking him about Yugito.
After hearing what happened, Aoba pulled Yugito into a little dark room before dinner started.
When she came out again, she had totally softened.
She even apologized to Kushina and Fu on her own.
Fu was extremely curious.
She wanted to ask what exactly happened, but when she looked into Yugito's eyes, she couldn't bring herself to ask.
Everyone also welcomed Kurotsuchi and Fu moving in.
Whether that welcome was sincere or not was another matter.

Dinner passed with a slightly odd atmosphere.
Uchiha Mikoto, who lived farther away, was the first to say goodbye.
"Mikoto, wait, I'll go with you."
Kushina hurriedly called out to her as she headed for the door.
"Hm? Kushina, you're not staying with Rin tonight?"
"I have something else to do."
Kushina linked arms with Mikoto and walked out smiling.
