Back at the southern border, two figures sat beside each other opposite a bank bearing the sign:
"Utility Bank."
Elia, clutching the disposable cup tightly in her hands, turned to Ikenna, who was leisurely eating a cupcake.
"Is it really that sweet?" she asked.
"Hmm," Ikenna attempted to respond, but his words were muffled by the food in his mouth.
After slowly swallowing the food, he answered, "Food is food, isn't it?"
Elia sighed at his words. She had completely forgotten that she was speaking to Ikenna, not an idol who needed to watch their weight.
"Are you sure it's happening?" Ikenna inquired.
Elia nodded; she was at least ninety percent certain that the bank heist incident was going to take place today, and she was also sure that Kai had no intention of intervening.
Why would he? It wasn't like it affected him. But Elia's heart couldn't just stand by and watch over fifty people die.
