ALSO, DOUBLE RELEASE GO BACK A CHAPTER

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Corvus clicked away at the keyboard like a movie character. His high [Computer] skill allowed him to navigate through the system with ease, allowing him to accomplish his goals.
Among the many minor tasks he had achieved, these were the seven most significant things he had done whilst browsing Taun We's console:
1) Rewrite the code for every single inhibitor chip. Now, whenever any order be given, whether it be Order 66, 1, 5, 99, 1,000 etc, they all did the same thing. Induce loyalty to Corvus/Revan, the Jedi, and the Republic in that order. So old Palpy could say 'Order 66' to a clone, but this would only make the clone an enemy of his.
This was a long con plan affecting only newborn clones, but Corvus had to cover all his bases. Better to prepare for the long haul, and not need it, than to have not prepared at all, and wishing for 'what could have been' or 'I should have done this.'
2) Order for Clone Force 99 to have their chips removed, and reassigned to work directly under Agent 007. Then erase all records of the commando squad prior to that order, making them appear as a blip in official documents. As an interesting side note, it appeared that their genomes were used to produce Blaze Troopers, Snipers, Technicians, and Assassins. In a way, Clone Force 99 were the original 'video game' classes.
Whilst on the surface, Corvus had no real need for a squadron of commandos, they would come in handy for when he eventually joined the war. The sheer numbers involved in this conflict were extraordinary, and boggled the mind. This warzone took place on a thousand worlds with billions of combatants involved.
Truly the Clone Wars were all sorts of fucked up. In a chaotic universe such as this, you could never have too many friends. Besides, once he armed them with upgraded gear, they would become absolute monsters. With his workbench, he could make them energy shields, and if he bought some scrap beskar with his astronomical amounts of cash, he could make them pure beskar armor, transforming them into unstoppable juggernauts.
Recruiting these guys would be the first step in establishing a non-Force Sensitive force beholden to the Jedi. They would be the resurgence of the Antarian Rangers, elite units that answered to the Jedi, and were the clandestine arm that got dirty when the main Temple needed to look squeaky clean. A necessary component to any Shadow's outfit if Corvus had any say. By the end of this, he'd be running a special forces mini army like an Inquisitor from Warhammer 40k.
3) Erase all research surrounding Omega, and Force Sensitive Clones.
In Legends, there were at least two or three other Fett clones that were attuned to the Force. If he was to deny Palpatine his long cherished dream of immortality, scrubbing this knowledge from the records would be critical.
At least, he tried to do this, but surprisingly, this was one of the few things he couldn't accomplish from Taun We's terminal. It seemed he would have to use Lama Su's computer if he wanted to achieve this goal. Once he was done with Taun We's terminal, he'd have to look into arranging a meeting.
4) Use his Imperial credentials to decline payments, citing the recent economic turmoil and unrest.
This was a risky maneuver, as it could be traced back to his account, but he had made several sock puppet ID's when he was at the Imperial Inspectorat. Besides, there was an off chance that any investigation would be slow. Why? Because if the officers he had left alive had done their job, they would have looked into Palpatine, and might not be so enthusiastic about him anymore.
In anycase, Corvus had made his Imperial persona severely disliked by the person closest to the Prime Minister of Kamino. That went a long way, but it wasn't enough. At the end of the day, Lama Su-the PM-wasn't loyal to the Jedi, Republic, or the Empire. No, he was a businessman interested in credits. That money then went to fuel his obsession, researching the creation of the perfect being.
Really, he reminded Corvus of Dr. Gero from DBZ trying to create Perfect Cell. But the point was, without this funding to continue his hobby, Lama Su was going to be piiiissed. Cutting the cash flow would do more to strain relations than mean words and distasteful barbs. Afterall, on Earth, people could hate each other's guts, but work together to chase that bag. Without those credits, Kamino would be pushed ever closer into open rebellion.
The Kaminoans weren't paper tigers either, and this move might be the most significant thing he had done since he arrived on the stormy planet. When Corvus edited the chip implants code, he saw that Order 100 had the clones 'revert to default.' But when he dug deeper, he realized that it was to make them loyal to the kaminoans. Now any clone who heard Order 66 would be hard coded, and couldn't receive any other Orders as a failsafe. But it also just so happened that Kamino made 50 million new clones every quarter. If Lama Su was serious about rebellion, he would have quite the army!
5) Altered the clone training regimen, paying special attention to the anti-Jedi training.
Every quarter, fifty million clones joined the front lines from Kamino, as well as an unspecified number from other facilities across the galaxy. The kaminoan clones were much more effective, and highly trained soldiers compared to these half baked counterparts. To influence this war, Corvus decided to cripple the learning systems and techniques that these clones studied.
For one, he encouraged programs that mimicked the Geonosis style of combat. That is, where troopers slowly advanced at a walk without any cover. Those gen-1 clones without combat experience were some poor SOB's, and their experience had been used to update the training database. All Corvus had to do was erase all these updates, and set the systems back to version 1.0. In short, the young clones in training would now revert to their basic-borderline suicidal tactics. This data reversion also erased all knowledge regarding magnaguards, assassin droids, and other tactics used to destroy rarer CIS creations. In short, the info almost exclusively was for clone vs basic B1 battle droid warfare.
As for the Jedi, the data currently suggested swarm tactics, and to fire from all angles, including sniper/aerial support, and heavy explosives. There were even sophisticated techniques that were meant to drive the Jedi in a certain direction that looked like an escape, but in reality was a killzone of epic magnitudes. Whoever wrote this stuff-likely Jango-was quite familiar with how Jedi thought, and most of these tactics would kill even Jedi Masters. The Force was powerful, but when a million man Legion was baring down on you, Corvus figured only the very top tier Force Adepts could solo such armies. Such a thought made Corvus thankful that he was gathering allies. Alone, he could kill leadership, and sabotage key infrastructure, but at the end of the day, he couldn't solo Palpatine, and as long as the Emperor lived, so too did the Empire. With an army behind him, there was a chance to wrestle control of the galaxy away from that prune face.
Keeping these thoughts in mind, Corvus rewrote this vicious anti-Jedi doctrine, and wrote that vibroswords were the best method to defeat a Jedi-because they blocked lightsabers (a total lie)-and to line up in compact formations reminiscent of combat that the colonial British musket wielding soldiers engaged in. Of course this was actually potentially dangerous for a Jedi due to the incredible amount of concentrated firepower, but if they were smart, they'd run or find cover. And if the Jedi facing this formation were actually skilled, they could dice through this thick mass of bodies rather easily.
Hopefully these changes would give the Jedi a fighting chance against the overwhelming numbers fielded by the Empire.
6) Copied the access codes to every facility, but more importantly, acquired the codes for the planetary shield.
Should his plan to induce rebellion fail, Corvus had set up a contingency plan. While a future attack on Kamino had the potential to go sideways, it was nice to have this option in his back pocket. There was an old saying, that 'plans in war often did not survive contact with the enemy.' By taking this notion to heart, Corvus had crafted multiple backup plans in the event that any one of them failed.
7) Lastly, he pulled up data regarding the former capital of Kamino before it sank into the ocean.
Yes, Kamino wasn't always 100% water, and once upon a time held some landmasses. Their capital city, Derem was his target. At that location was a library hidden by the Jedi, and a holocron was left behind. Furthermore, there was a cache of artifacts that had been rescued from the desolation of Ossus.
To the uninitiated, Ossus may not sound very important, but it was an incredibly important planet to the Jedi. This location was possibly the first planet that a Jedi Temple was built upon once the Je'daii split into both Jedi/Sith. It was here that the greatest repository of Jedi knowledge was kept, at the Great Jedi Library. Of course, this all came to an end when-Naga Sadow or Exar Kun, the history was unreliable regarding this-scorched the planet by making a nearby sun go supernova. Some Jedi survived, and one of them left the items he had saved on Kamino!
While it was true that he had taken all sorts of items/artifacts & holocrons from the Temple on Coruscant, and had yet to go through each and every one of them, he could always add more loot to his collection. Every bit that he added to his inventory would eventually go towards creating the greatest temple dedicated to the study of the Force that the galaxy had ever seen.
Discovering the location of Derem City, Corvus intended to go there after he had settled everything at Tipoca.
Logging off the computer, Corvus had spent about three hours completing everything that needed to be done. Rubbing his eyes, and stretching for a yawn, he powered down the machine.
"I trust you found everything was to your satisfaction?" Taun We said from the side.
"Oh yes, administrator We, I was most pleased with the data you showed me. I will be certain to share my findings with the Emperor." Corvus said in a meaningful/ambiguous tone.
Taun We tilted her head to the side in confusion. The poor pale long neck didn't know if he was praising her, or talking shit.
"I would say my fact finding mission is almost complete. Before I depart, however, I would appreciate a brief meeting with the Prime Minister." Corvus requested.
"Prime Minister Lama Su is a busy man, to make such a request on short notice is-"
"It is very important that I see him. With the shift in governments, the issue of payment has come under question, as well as our current contract. After all, whilst the Empire may be the successor state to the Republic, the Emperor does not recognize all debts under the previous regime. I am certain that Prime Minister Su would be interested in listening to my concerns." Corvus said with an arrogant, condescending tone. His voice carried the kind of superiority one would expect from an absolute monarch high on his own hype.
"...I shall send a message and attempt to get you this meeting, Agent." Tauna We said in a strained voice, and gave him a shallow smile.
"Very good. In the meantime, I think I'll continue my tour of these facilities. That unit, Clone Force 99 seemed somewhat interesting, I think I'll take a look." Corvus said, and then left the office without so much as saying goodbye.
Walking past Jax & Yon, Corvus felt their boredom, and let loose with an aura of confidence within the Force.
"My work may seem boring, men, but I have accomplished great things. Death & destruction are but one tool in my arsenal. Soon you shall play witness to the fruits of my labor. By the end of the evening, Kamino will have been changed forever."
Flourishing his cloak, Corvus strutted down the hallways of the cloning facility like he owned the place. He could feel the invisible eyes of cloaked clone assassins trailing his figure through the Force, but it only emboldened him.
His plan was working.
