--- Chapter 353 ---
Han Yuan didn't just strike an extra deal with the Scarlet King; he also made similar arrangements with other Great Beasts in the Star Dou Forest.
Whether it was Bi Ji (Emerald Swan), Xiong Jun (Bear Lord), Zi Ji (Abyss Demon Dragon), or Yao Ling (Myriad Demon King), each of them had untapped potential to become a divine beast.
At the moment, Han Yuan was sitting with Xiong Jun in his human form, enjoying snacks and wine.
"Oh, hahaha! Good wine! Good wine!" Bear Lord burped after downing a giant jar of liquor. "Han Yuan, I didn't expect you to have such good stuff with you."
"Even my 10,000-year Honey Wine doesn't have this depth of flavor, and it even improves my cultivation a little. What's the name of this wine again?"
"Four Flavors Liquor," Han Yuan replied, taking a slow sip of his honey wine. "Yours isn't bad either. Mine was made from four rare medicinal flowers and then aged in an ancient gourd for a while."
"I also have a better wine called Seven Fragrances Wine, but it's not quite finished yet."
"Ah, that's a shame. But this will do for now," Bear Lord murmured with an expectation, downing more wine with a flushed face.
"Yeah." Han Yuan quietly enjoyed his honey wine.
Not long after, Di Tian appeared out of nowhere and instantly sat down with a scowl on his face. He grabbed the jug from Xiong Jun's hand and drank the Four Flavors Liquor in heavy gulps.
"Phew, so tiring," Di Tian said.
"What's the matter?" Han Yuan asked curiously. "Aren't you supposed to be watching over Nayuan?"
"She's napping right now," Di Tian replied, his usually deep voice tinged with bitterness.
Bear Lord rubbed his eyes. "Is it just me, or do you look really depressed right now, Di Tian?"
"It's just a kid! Taking care of her shouldn't be that hard, right?"
"No one would know you're dumb if you didn't speak, Xiong Jun!" Di Tian glared at the Bear Lord indifferently. "Have you ever taken care of any of your offspring? You literally let your many spouses handle everything!"
Xiong Jun coughed awkwardly, looking away from the glare. "W-Well, they just do a better job than I do. Besides, those brats of mine always act like they want a beating whenever I try to take care of them."
"Tch, all talk and no action," Di Tian snorted at the shameless bear.
"Hmm, Nayuan can be mischievous indeed, but she was only born a few days ago, so that's normal." Han Yuan commented lightly.
Di Tian growled at Han Yuan this time. "You don't say, Han Yuan. Nayuan started complaining and crying when she couldn't find you at the Lake of Life."
"I was busy," Han Yuan replied bluntly.
Di Tian slammed the wine jar down. "I knew that, dumbass! That's why I let her play with your ladies, but it wasn't enough!"
"She called you 'Daddy' this and 'Daddy' that all the time while she only called me 'Uncle Black!'"
"Even those Soft Bone Rabbits got called 'Older Sister' by her."
"No matter how I see it, that's incredibly unfair!"
"…" Han Yuan.
"…" Xiong Jun.
So, that was Di Tian's real problem!
What the hell, man?
Simply put, Di Tian was jealous, which was understandable. He must have spent all these days taking care of the Emperor Auspicious Beast to get close to her.
However, the fearsome Beast God got reduced to being called "Black Uncle." Not only was that ridiculous, but it was also insulting.
The worst part was that Di Tian could only smile and accept this title from the Emperor Auspicious Beast while crying inside.
What was he going to do?
Beat Di Nayuan?
Dragon God, please. Even if Di Tian had ten times more courage than he already had, he wouldn't even dare harm a single hair on the Emperor Auspicious Beast.
Xiong Jun gave Di Tian a strange look, having challenged him many times before but only now seeing his 'defeated' expression.
A scratch on the face by his bear claws didn't hurt Di Tian as much as being called 'Black Uncle.'
Tragic. Truly tragic. Even the Beast God had his low moments, too.
Han Yuan's mouth twitched slightly as he cleared his throat to change the topic. "Ehem, by the way, what do you think of my proposal to form a sect of spirit beasts?"
"You guys are bound to interact with humans sooner or later, but you can't just open the Star Dou Forest to the public."
"I already got Yao Ling to work on that," Di Tian huffed, knowing Han Yuan wanted to change the subject but not calling him out. "There shouldn't be any problem with the members."
"We have quite a few 100,000-year-old spirit beasts who can transform and cultivate as fast as humans, but they'll need your help to mask their spirit beast aura first."
"As for the 200,000-year-old ferocious beasts, they will stay as elders of our sect."
"Okay, I will share a set of cultivation techniques and some pills later," Han Yuan responded. "I am familiar with this problem because Xiao Wu used to have the same problem."
"Still, have you decided on the name of your sect?"
Di Tian tossed the nearly empty jar back to Xiong Jun, making the bear's mouth twitch in displeasure, before answering, "I have discussed this matter with the lord."
"From now on, the Star Dou Forest's force would be named the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect!"
"..." Han Yuan's eyebrow twitched.
"You didn't name the sect this way because my Ten Thousand Beasts Flame gives you hope, right?"
"Of course not!" Di Tian snorted unhappily. "Back in the prosperous era of the Dragon Clan, we had countless Divine Beast allies."
"Including us, dragon, we have ten thousand divine beast forces that could flatten the Divine Realm if we want."
"But that same divine force perished in the end." Han Yuan interjected casually.
"So, using this name, I understand that your lord has an ambition to build that glory again."
"Should I say your lord was naive, or ambitious?"
"..." Di Tian fell silent immediately.
Deep below, you're naive and ambitious! Your whole family is naive and ambitious!
"Then, again, having a goal is a great thing," Han Yuan added. "My Dao Academy is very much willing to help the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect to grow and gain a foothold on the continent."
"If you need help, just talk with me later."
Di Tian opened his mouth, "Thank you, Han Yuan."
Han Yuan chugged his honey wine and warned, "It's alright, but I have to remind you that the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect shouldn't expose too much yet."
"I recommended you to have a calm-minded 200,000-year-old ferocious spirit beast as a spokesperson, who possessed the strength of a Super Douluo."
"With such strength, people shouldn't make things difficult for you, but at the same time, you shouldn't be too inconspicuous either."
"I will keep that in mind," Di Tian nodded calmly.
"Is there more?"
Han Yuan rubbed his chin and said, "I don't know if you would agree or not to this idea of mine, but..."
"I think the Ten Thousand Beasts Sect could also recruit young humans as disciples."
"At the end of the day, the speed at which spirit masters cultivate is faster than you guys."
"Doing this as an investment wouldn't only expand your sect's power, but also build more allies for the Star Dou Forest."
"If you are wary of evil humans, then nurture the good ones."
Di Tian and Xiong Jun frowned slightly upon hearing Han Yuan's advice, but they couldn't find anything wrong with it.
The logic is clear, and it is better to invest in 'good' humans and let them become allies than to let those greedy ones eye the Star Dou Forest.
If there were more sensible humans like Han Yuan, the spirit beast race wouldn't live under pressure at all.
Yet, Di Tian couldn't make up his mind as he needed Silver Dragon King's words on this matter.
