Dong-geun had this impressive ability to bring out the worst in him. He was irritating and made him so angry his teeth would start to hurt. But there was also a part that admired and respected him, and that small part had started to grow.
It was funny how quickly hatred could fade; then again, by simply turning the other cheek, or flipping the other side of the coin, you'd find love. Some say it's easier to hate than it is to love, and Chan-woo found those words to be true.
What was he supposed to do now that those embers had been fully extinguished? His anger no longer had legs to stand on, so what was he to do?
He suddenly wished he'd never spoken to Han Seo-yoon. He was happy in his ignorance. Knowing the truth was much too painful.
Chan-woo sighed as he got up with shaky legs and picked up the book. It looked pitiful lying there all crumbled up. He closed it, smoothing his calloused hand over the cover.
