Eun-woo woke up, his body jolting up as he took in the unfamiliar surroundings. His nose was greeted with a scintilla of vanilla mixed with nutty notes of almond and macadamia. It was a mouthwatering scent and made the starving Eun-woo damn near ravenous.
He looked to his left and saw Namgoong Ha-joon already seated at the table, enjoying a cup of freshly brewed tea and flaky pastries that were native to the land they were currently living in. He sat upright and fixed the young man with a glare.
"Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" He asked, his voice raspy from sleep.
Ha-joon threw him a quick glance before returning to his meal. "Because you looked tired. We've been climbing mountains all day yesterday with barely any time to rest. I would be doing you a disservice by waking you up without proper sleep."
Eun-woo frowned. "You know I like to meditate before the sun rises, Young Master Namgoong. You've done a disservice by avoiding doing a disservice."
