"Strategic," Junghwa corrected smoothly, his thumb brushing over Wooyun's jaw. "You're compassionate too, though you try to hide it. You care about people deeply. You just don't like admitting it because it makes you feel vulnerable. And you have this way with others… they listen to you, even when they don't mean to. That's power, Wooyun. The kind that can't be taught."
Wooyun looked away, embarrassed. "You're giving me too much credit."
"I'm not giving enough," Junghwa said simply, his voice steady but soft. "If you ever wanted to, you could lead a sect with ease."
Wooyun shook his head, a faint laugh escaping him. "Leading a sect sounds like too much of a headache. I'd rather not have to deal with politics, discipline, logistics, all that nonsense. Besides…" He glanced up at Junghwa, his tone quieting. "I don't have the passion for it. That kind of role should belong to someone who'll go above and beyond for the sect, not someone who'd rather nap through meetings."
