A new path then opened for him, and Wooyun continued forth. His footsteps carried in the dark corridor. He kept his eyes strained as he wondered what the subsequent trial might be. He didn't have to wait long to find out, as he was brought to a room where a large pillar stood, and on it was displayed a ball of iron reinforced with qi.
He lifted a brow. The instructions were straightforward: Cut the iron ball in half. You are free to use qi or raw strength.
This stumped him as he looked at the ball that was roughly the size of a basketball. He then glanced at his own weapon with pursed lips. "…Do they really expect me to cut this thing down with raw strength alone? Wouldn't the easiest solution be using qi?"
His brows knit together as he heard his own voice and realized things couldn't be this simple. Right?
"Well, it doesn't hurt to try," he said as he charged his spear with qi and prepared to cut the orb in half.
