With a single burst of qi, his body blurred and the wolves pounced on him at the same time. He weaved and dodged their strikes, teeth bared at him, but Wooyun managed to keep them at bay.
A flash, a step, and a strike.
Three dull thuds echoed in the clearing. The wolves collapsed, motionless, as a thin trail of blood trickled from their heads. Wooyun landed lightly on his feet, already turning before their bodies hit the ground.
"Too slow," he said, more to himself than anyone else.
But deep down, he could feel it, the technique had drained him. Hyper Vision was powerful, but it came at a cost. His breathing was uneven now, and a faint buzzing filled his ears.
Still not good enough, he thought, tightening his grip on the blade.
Wooyun realized that he was still very much lacking in skill and knew it was time for him to start learning demonic arts.
