I was in my office reading through scrolls as usual. It was tiring as hell that sometimes I wished I was not a king but a random free subject of the king.
But even if my wish was granted, I was sure I would have more wishes piling up more than now that I was a king.
I sighed for the twenty fifth time in the span of fifteen minutes that morning, I was tired but I couldn't complain. Worse still, now that Serena's father was back, she was no longer giving me the attention I needed and it kind of made me feel something akin to jealousy.
A knock on the door forced my head up from its bent position, I groaned on seeing Michael walk in. He had a huge smile on his face. "What?" I asked as I wasn't in any mood to talk to him.
"Oh come on, that was harsh." He moved over to my side. "What you up to?"
"You are not blind either, that I'm sure of." I murmured and leaned my head on my seat.
