Six blood days passed, and taking care of herself in this isolated environment was a bit challenging, but Wish pulled through, anticipating the arrival of her king. She was standing on the balcony when she noticed the mysterious hooded figure lingering eerily in the compound of her castle and bathed partly by the shadows of the moonlight.
The back of her throat tightened with fear when the figure stepped forward to stare up at her with a smirk. Wish backed away quickly, stepping back into her room to close the doors leading to the balcony. Her heart raced as the feeling of danger kept hitting her like a wave over and over again.
Wish screamed, but her cries were muffled when someone suddenly covered her mouth from behind, and the cold feel of a knife pressing to her neck had her entire body go into a full lockdown. Her eyes widened like she had just seen the devil himself appear right in front of her.
