Somewhere near a quiet town in Pakistan…
Dark clouds covered the sky as four researchers stood outside an old mansion—tall, broken, half-covered in wild plants.
It looked forgotten… but something inside was waiting.
Dr. Hameed stared at the rusted gates. "No one's been here for years. The mansion is from the Mughal times… but something feels… heavy."
Zara, holding an old map, whispered, "The papers said there's a locked room here that was never opened. Fifty stepped inside—flashlights trembling. The floor creaked. The air smelled like dust and secrets.
Deep in the mansion, they found a black wooden door with strange symbols carved into it.
"Let's open it," whispered Usman, voice shaky.
As the door opened… a freezing wind blew pass them. A loud screech echoed like a scream.
What they saw inside… no one knows.
Because they never came back.
Scene Shift – Present Day
Five students sat in a bookshop, laughing. It was a quiet afternoon in Lahore.
Books surrounded them, the air smelled of paper and chai(Tea).
Areeba, the sarcastic one, held a big old book.
"So listen to this," she read dramatically, "'And after they opened the door, the town was never the came again…'"
She laughed. "Seriously? People are so dumb. Who goes into haunted mansions for fun?"
Hamza, munching a samosa, grinned. "I'd go… but only with pizza in one hand and a sword in the other."
Nimra, the scared one, folded her arms. "You'd faint if the fan wobbles. Don't act cool."
Tariq shrugged. "It's all fake. Just scary stories to sell books."
Suddenly, Zoya, the quiet one, flipped pages faster.
"Wait… look at this!" she said, pointing at the page.
Everyone leaned closer.
There, printed on the title page, was the author's name:
"Written by Dr. Hameed Khan."
The same name from the story.
Hamza's eyes went wide. "Hold up. That's the same guy from inside the story! So he's real?"
Nimra whispered, "But… if he disappeared… how did he write the book
Areeba blinked. "Maybe he came back… or maybe something else came back instead…"
The old bookshop owner, Baba Ghazi, leaned closer.
"He was a real man. A respected researcher. People say he returned… but he was never the came. And soon after, he vanished again."
A cold shiver ran through the group.
Hamza tried to laugh. "Okay, I'm scared… but also curious!"
Zoya stood up, eyes shining. "So let's find Dr. Hameed Khan. Maybe he's alive… or maybe he left clues. And then we can go see that mansion for ourselves!"
Nimra gasped. "You people need medical help. Why would you WANT to die?"
Areeba smirked. "Why not? It's better than boring classes. Imagine—us finding the real evil living beings!"
As they kept laughing and arguing, Baba Ghazi slowly turned away.
His eyes suddenly glowed a strange dark red, for just a second.
A faint, wicked smile curled on his lips…
But none of the students saw it.
And just like that…
A story that started with a warning…
…was about to be repeated again.
