Hannah noticed the coldness that suddenly cloaked his eyes and she quickly explained hastily,
"I don't want to fall in love with you". She said and for some strange reasons, her words tugged at his heart in a strange way.
"I'm not seducing you". You are my wife whether contracted or not, you must obey me. He said with a firm tone before adding, when have you ever obeyed my rules? He smirked coldly before letting go of her.
"Change your clothes, you look like a maid ". He said coldly before walking away making Hannah wondered whether she did something wrong in stopping him from kissing her neck. She quickly adjusted her emotions and went back inside the room to pick a ripped jeans and wear it without changing off from her turtleneck.
After changing, she went downstairs to the lounge but didn't see him.
So she left the mansion and decided to go check the parking lot but was surprised to see a Mercedes Benz parked at the entrance.
The security guard opened the front passenger door for her to enter which she did and was surprised to see Logan seated on the driver's seat.
She pursed her lips before she heard the door shut and the car started before moving like a fast bullet.
He drove out of the estate before driving in a not so slow motion on the high way.

Governor Bills just arrived at his residence with a solemn look. He knew the president wants hiding a secret cause why would he want his daughter to get married to that dangerous man?
He sat on his couch with a sigh as a maid brought a glass of water for him to drink. He took the glass cup from the tray before gulping it down. After drinking, he placed the cup back on the tray and the maid left. The moment she left,
Mrs Bills arrived with a small smile to welcome her husband.
"How was the meeting with the president?" She asked as she went to sit next to him and slowly massaged his shoulders.
The Governor closed his eyes as all his tensed muscles relaxed.
Once he was relaxed, he told his wife to stop which she did.
"The president wants to bring Sophie's memories back". He said with motionless tone.
"And why is that?" She asked with a furrowed brows.
"Because he wants her to marry Logan Emerson and she is also the president biological daughter". He said earning a sharp gasp from his wife.
"Sophie is the president biological daughter?" She couldn't believe her ears.
"Yes, she is not an orphan as you thought. There is a reason for everything. But I think the president wants to start making plans cause he is getting old and his reign looks like it's almost over". Governor Bills explained to his wife calmly.
"Let me guess, he wants his daughter to marry Logan Emerson, the ruthless billionaire CEO with a dark secret?" She sigh deeply after realizing the situation.
"Yes and that is why he wants to bring Sophie's memories, I think the answers lies in her hidden memories". The governor said calmly.
"Well, by the way what will happen to that woman Logan is entangled with?" His wife asked curiously. She had known the president that he wasn't a simple man and what ever he wants he will get it by force. So she was seriously curious on how they will take Logan contracted wife away from Logan's life.
"Well, let's see how it goes". He said and his wife just nodded. They remained seated in the lounge lost in each their thoughts.
Meanwhile in the Emersons mansion,
Brielle got dressed in her favourite creme colored knee length split skirt and a sky blue button down shirt before tucking the shirt in the skirt. After she was done, she applied a red lip gloss on her lips before picking up her purse and leaving her room. She walked past some rooms before knocking on the room door of Aunt Tessa.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in". The person said and Brielle pushed the door opened and entered.
The moment she entered the room, she was stunned to see Tessa all dressed. She knew Tessa rarely go out except when she wants to wash her hair and do a thorough spa cleaning.
"Hello aunty". Brielle greeted with wide smile pasted on her face.
Tessa smiled brightly at her too.
"Sweetheart, are you heading out?" She asked.
"Yes I have decided to work on getting closer to Gregor. I will make sure he notices me before the end of today and I will do everything in my power to seduce him". Brielle explained with an air of confidence.
Tessa just smiled.
"Good girl, once you do that let me know ". Tessa said meekly.
Brielle just nodded and went to hug her aunt. The moment she hugged her aunt, Tessa also hugged her back but the smile she gave Brielle when she came in turned into a vicious smirk.
"Foolish puppet, once Gregor is done using you, you will thrashed like rags". She thought evilly before patting her back.
They pulled out with Brielle still smiling and feeling confident.
"Alright Aunt, let me start going". She said and Tessa nodded.
Brielle waved goodbye to her and left the room.
The moment she left the room,
Tessa took out her phone and dialed a number.
After a few rings, the other person on the other end picked and said in a grumpy voice.
"Why are you disturbing my sleep?"
"Gregor, why don't you accept Brielle, not as your woman but as your puppet". Tessa said with a sigh.
"And who said I want to use a member of the Emersons for my mission?" He asked with a sarcastic tone.
"Then who do you want to use?" Tessa asked becoming agitated.
"Fine then, I will accept Brielle but you know what that means". Gregor said after a moment of silence.
"Yes, once you are done using her, you will thrash her". Tessa smiled sinisterly.
