Simon seeing that gaze knew that this woman was determined to do and say what she shouldn't. That would be very bad for him, especially, knowing that someone was watching and listening.
With that in mind, he rose to his feet and leaned in close, covering half of the table and blocking the camera view, which made the Captain frown.
Unfortunately, he couldn't do anything about the matter. Especially, after he had promised to give Simon privacy earlier.
Thankfully, Simon didn't do anything. It was as if he stretched his body for a few seconds before standing straight.
Mary didn't reveal much on her face. The Captain couldn't guess what transpired in that short moment. However, if only he was inside the room, would he notice that Mary had clenched her jaws at some point but with Simon's glare, she could only look calm.
