"Is Dad coming to pick us up?" Raine excitedly asked, her small eyes sparkling with interest.
Mrs. Frost, seeing that, smiled at her granddaughter and nodded in acknowledgement. That alone made both children beam up.
It's been nearly a month since they last saw him. After the schools were closed, they were sent to their grandmother for the holidays. Since their father was forever busy, it was pointless for them to remain at the clan complex.
Moreover, waiting alone in that huge mansion with just servants. The children weren't that keen to doing so. However, just because they didn't like it didn't mean that they hated spending the little time they could with their father.
After all, their father couldn't be considered selfish. He was doing all that work for them as well as many other families that relied on their family. They knew that pretty well.
