Inside the Bagua Space, Akio lay flat on the ground, scrolling through his newly updated stats line by line.

"Thirty-six years old... Have I been in seclusion for five or six years now? What an enjoyable training session… yeah, right!"

He arched his back in irritation, sitting upright. The fat cat that had been napping on his belly was launched into the air, smacking into the wall of the space.

"Meow~ Is it morning already?"

"Morning, my ass. It's always bright in my space!"

That wasn't Akio talking to himself, the fat cat could actually speak. As for how that happened, well… that's a long, painful story.

Years ago, Akio had stayed with Nanako through her final days, letting her hear the first cries of her newborn child.

Nanako passed away peacefully, and the Two-Tails sealed within her died with her. Akio used a sealing technique to toss the dying beast's chakra into his space.

Afterward, he looked after Naruto for a while, oversaw Nanako's funeral, and, after discussing with Minato and Kushina, sealed his own half of the Nine-Tails into Naruto. The enormous number of Witness Points he gained from that event was enough to unlock the Kekkei Mōra.

Once Kushina had fully recovered and it was clear the "Nine-Tails' Akiopage" never happened, Akio finally decided to begin his own training.

But when he returned to his space, his eyes went wide in disbelief, the fat cat was lying limp on the floor, on the verge of death.

Upon closer inspection, Akio couldn't help but laugh helplessly, the stupid cat had taken a bite of the Two-Tails' chakra.

Yes, literally. A bite.

Akio was dumbfounded. He'd always grumbled, "You eat so much, why don't you just eat yourself to death?"

And now it had actually happened.

A normal cat only lives about ten years. Over the years, Akio had been extending its lifespan with all sorts of rare ingredients and chakra supplements.

Before eating the Two-Tails' chakra, it already possessed a faint trace of chakra and was slowly turning into a "ninja cat." But that was nowhere near enough to digest a Tailed Beast's chakra.

Unable to just watch it die, Akio pulled out every medical and sealing jutsu he knew. After an intense series of treatments, he finally stabilized it and helped it digest that single bite.

The cat lived and its body changed dramatically. Even its eyes gleamed with a new intelligence.

That's when Akio had a wild idea:

"Why not create the first Tailed Beast Cat Jinchūriki in the ninja world?"

So he got to work.

Time meant nothing in the space. Akio threw himself into the task with the medical prowess of Tsunade, unrivaled Level 9 sealing arts, and the unmatched Level 10 mastery of pharmacology.

By the time all his medicinal supplies and food scrolls were depleted, he finally succeeded bit by bit, he sealed the Two-Tails' chakra inside the cat, turning it into the strongest ninja cat in history.

At first, he thought he'd wasted too much time for such a trivial result. But when the cat opened its eyes and spoke to him, Akio felt it was all worth it.

A talking ninja cat and a companion who could accompany him for centuries.

"How ironic," he muttered. "In the end, my only companion is a female cat."

Once everything settled, he was ready to begin real training. But before that, he had to restock food and check what was happening outside.

To his surprise, a year and a half had passed inside the space. No wonder all ten scrolls of food were gone.

Thankfully, the world outside hadn't changed much Minato was still the Fourth Hokage, Kushina was fine, and Naruto was growing up healthy.

Over in Uzushio, Nagato had mastered Dust Release, and Akio had told him to contract with Katsuyu to prepare for Sage Mode training. Sara's Ichiraku Ramen shop was thriving too.

Everything was going well except for one thing.

Izuko was sick.

Akio had thought he'd outlive his three disciples in order, but Izuko passed away before Jitou. Maybe it was because Jitou was a taijutsu specialist and physically stronger.

Regardless, Akio buried another student. After giving Jitou a few last instructions, he doubled his usual food reserves and finally began his training.

Having already lost a year and a half because of the cat, Akio was eager to make up for lost time.

Back in the space, he spent 2,000 Witness Points and entered a mysterious state, one of evolution.

It was as if he were ascending from a lower life form to a higher one. No mere boost to his Yang attribute could compare to this transformation.

Maybe because he was still "human," the evolution took time over ten days, maybe dozens until he felt changed, different, as if he'd gained something new… or lost something vital.

Before he could check his new condition, the fat cat cried for help. The Two-Tails' chakra inside her had reawakened, sparking an internal soul battle between cat and beast.

Though the cat had grown strong, its soul couldn't compare to a Tailed Beast's. Even Akio's spirit only slightly surpassed Matatabi's.

Left with no choice, he tried talking it down and offered spiritual assistance on the side.

The details weren't pleasant. Let's just say… he got thoroughly scolded.

After all, who wouldn't be furious? A proud Tailed Beast, sealed inside an ordinary house cat.

And so, Akio's "training" turned into a long and frustrating ordeal balancing his own studies while keeping the cat's situation under control.

When the food stores finally ran out again, his training came to an end. The cat stabilized, and Akio was ready to leave.

"I didn't miss Naruto's academy entrance, did I?" he muttered with a wry smile.

This training had been exhausting. With no way to track time, every New Year that passed automatically increased his age now he was thirty-six. He'd lost track of whether it had been five or six years.

Still, there was one thing that delighted him: the Kekkei Mōra truly was powerful, it broke the balance of the elemental triangle itself.

Akio could now use all known kekkei techniques even Wood Release though without Asura's chakra, his strength still didn't match Hashirama's. Perhaps Asura's Yang attribute had already reached level ten.

Sitting upright, Akio murmured, "Fat Cat, let's go out."

Obediently, the cat leapt into his arms. In an instant, Akio appeared in the real world before a graveyard, the Uzumaki Clan Cemetery.

Scanning the area, he frowned. "There seem to be a lot of new graves…"

He walked deeper into the cemetery, stopping before Nanako's tombstone.

'Grave of Uzumaki Nanako.'

A step further ...

'Grave of Uzumaki Izuko.'

And behind that....

'Grave of Uzumaki Jitou.'

"So… Jitou's gone too?" Akio sighed. "Time spares no one."

After a long silence, he turned to leave but out of the corner of his eye, he noticed one more enormous tombstone behind Jitou's.

'Grave of Uzumaki Akio.'

"My grave?!"

Akio froze in disbelief.

"How… how did I die?"
