Author's POV
"What do you mean by she had one of her episodes earlier? My baby has been in that state for months, and you guys have not been able to do anything?" She yelled angrily.
Mrs Johnson held her shoulders gently.
"You've to calm down, ma'am. This is a hospital." The doctor replied calmly as he scribbled something on a paper and then handed it to the nurse beside him.
"Calm down, what will that do?"
"Mrs Whitmore, let me talk to the doctor. Please, stay calm." Mrs Johnson said softly and turned to the doctor.
"We understand that she has been having these episodes for years, but is there nothing we can do?" She asked as she looked at the doctor, studying his expressions.
The doctor removed his glasses and fixed his gaze on her. "Miss Whitmore always has a temporary shift in her brain activity, and this happens almost every week. We have been giving her the best medications for her health, and we're trying our best; it is all in God's hands."
