Chapter 150 - Chapter 150 – Re-entering Dragon Valley, Collecting Dragon Souls

"Then after your hundred-year life as a mortal ended, what happened next?" Gu Yuena asked curiously.

Sitting on a stool, she lifted her head, her watery violet eyes gazing up at Yunze, clearly wanting to hear more about his past.

"The story is far too long. I can't explain it in just a few sentences, and I don't plan to talk about it for now," Yunze shook his head, showing no intention of elaborating.

"It's already very late. Go to sleep."After saying that, he stepped into the tent.

Though it looked like a single tent from the outside, the inside was divided into two halves by a piece of cloth.

"We can take it slowly…" Gu Yuena muttered in disappointment as she watched his back disappear.

She didn't bother tidying anything up and went straight to her own half of the tent. Through the cloth, she continued:

"Tell me more about your experiences… If my curiosity isn't satisfied, I won't be able to sleep."

"Stop messing around. Just sleep." Yunze's calm voice came through. Once he decided not to speak, none of her tricks would work.

Knowing he truly didn't want to talk about it, Gu Yuena gave up. She lay on her side facing the cloth divider, her violet eyes blinking occasionally as she sank into her own thoughts.

Yunze lay flat, eyes already closed. His mind emptied, and he soon fell asleep.

That night, he had a dream.

Travel and News Across the Continent

The second place they visited was an ancient city—old-fashioned buildings with a deep, rich history.

Disguised as ordinary tourists, the two traveled across various famed locations of the Star Luo Continent. They had plenty of fun—it was a rare moment of relaxation.

Of course, it wasn't complete leisure. They played during the day and cultivated at night; they never slacked.

The production of the soul device meant for storing dragon souls also continued steadily—one could be finished every two or three days.

While they were enjoying their travels, major events unfolded across the continent.

The most notable was the destruction of the Green Skull Organization. Under the joint siege of two major corps, the rebellious group was completely wiped out.

The news shook the entire nation. Many commoners cheered—they would no longer suffer under that group's crimes.

With the Green Skull Organization gone, the Star Luo Empire had finally given the Federation delegation a proper explanation.

After investigation, the Federation found that the previous ambush indeed had been orchestrated by the Green Skull Organization in cooperation with the Holy Spirit Cult, and had nothing to do with the Empire.

Since the Empire wasn't involved, the delegation had no grounds to demand accountability from them.

Thus the case was closed, ending with the annihilation of the Green Skull Organization and some compensation from the Empire.

Another major event involved the Tang Sect. The news of over a hundred Tang Sect members being killed—two of them Titled Douluo—caused an uproar across the continent.

The Tang Sect was one of Star Luo's top sects; even the royal family was cautious with them.

And yet someone dared to kill over a hundred of their people.

The Tang Sect issued a continent-wide wanted notice—no cost would be spared in finding the murderer.

Their movements were massive, but their results were negligible; they found not a single clue.

This only deepened their suspicion that the incident was connected to the Dragon Valley space—otherwise how could there be no trace at all?

Aside from these, other matters received far less attention.

Returning to Dragon Valley

Time passed, and more than four months went by. Yunze and Gu Yuena ended their journey.

Inside Dragon Valley, a spatial passage opened, and the two flew out from it.

"Good thing I can enter from long distance, otherwise this would've been troublesome." Gu Yuena said with a hint of pride.

Previously, many Tang Sect members had gathered around the mountain. They still hadn't given up on researching Dragon Valley and wanted to reopen the passage.

If she hadn't already fully mastered the Dragon Valley space, entering would inevitably result in a fight.

With her current power, entering from within a hundred miles of the mountain was no problem. Any farther, however, would become difficult.

"You know which direction to take, right?" Yunze asked.

"Of course, follow me." Gu Yuena said confidently, flying ahead.

Collecting the Dragon Souls

Inside the valley, one dragon soul after another emerged from their skeletal remains, gathering together because Gu Yuena had returned.

Yunze took out the containers he had made—a square metal box engraved with intricate formations.

"You first," Gu Yuena said, pointing at the Earth Dragon soul ahead.

The Earth Dragon soul stood several tens of meters tall—one of the more heavyset types of dragons, its body like solid rock.

Thump… thump… thump…Following her command, the Earth Dragon walked over. Each step made the ground tremble.

When it came close, Yunze opened the box. A gentle pale-blue light glowed from within, soothing and nourishing to the soul.

Bathed in the light, the Earth Dragon's massive body shrank, quickly becoming the size of a little bird.

It flapped its tiny wings excitedly and flew into the box. Yunze closed the lid.

He handed the container to Gu Yuena, who attached a prepared label to it.

"Next one," she pointed to another. Then the third, the fourth…

The process of storing the dragon souls was simple and fast. Within half an hour, all were collected.

Collecting the Dragon Bones

"Go take their soul bones as well. They'll need them later," Yunze said.

Gu Yuena hesitated briefly before nodding. She wouldn't touch the other bones, but these forty-six soul bones were different—they would later be returned to their corresponding dragon souls.

"We should've done this earlier. They could've fetched their own bones, and we wouldn't have to do it." Gu Yuena laughed.

"These dragon souls aren't that intelligent. They can't tell the difference between normal bones and soul bones.

If you asked them to bring soul bones, they might bring back ordinary bones instead, and that would cause a lot of trouble," Yunze replied.

Gu Yuena thought about it and agreed—she had oversimplified things.

Thanks to his previous inspection months ago, Yunze was familiar with the layout of the valley. He remembered the location of each skeleton clearly, retrieving each matching soul bone with ease.

The soul bones of these giant dragons were essentially the same as normal soul bones—six positions: four limbs, head, torso.

There was even an external soul bone among them—a pair of wing-type bones, like a skeletal version of dragon wings.

Dragon-produced soul bones had significantly higher quality than normal ones. Most notably, their energy level was much denser and purer.

Even if they hadn't reached 100,000 years, they could rival ordinary 100,000-year soul bones.

"There's a Hell Demon Dragon soul bone here," Gu Yuena said as she spotted the Hell Demon Dragon's skeleton. A soul bone was guaranteed if the skeleton was present.
