While Byakuya Kuchiki and Suì-Fēng were locked in a fierce battle with the Arrancar Barron, Yusuke returned to the Hueco Mundo Technical Development Bureau to monitor the progress of his experiments alongside Kurotsuchi Mayuri.
"Byakuya Kuchiki and Suì-Fēng performed admirably. They pushed the number four experimental subject to its limits, directly causing the Dōgyoku's collapse," Kurotsuchi Mayuri observed with a smile.
Yusuke nodded in agreement. "It seems my guidance over the years wasn't wasted. I'm quite satisfied with Byakuya Kuchiki's performance. For a moment, I thought I might have to intervene personally."
Kurotsuchi Mayuri chuckled, her gaze shifting to another monitor. "However, some are faring less well. The overweight fellow battling the number one experimental subject is near death. As a fellow captain, aren't you going to offer assistance?"
Kurotsuchi Mayuri was referring to Kenpachi Kiganjō, the Eleventh Division Captain. The monitor showed him completely incapacitated, lying on the ground, covered in blood.
Yusuke responded indifferently, "I'm not in the charity business. I have no personal connection with that man."
On another monitor, Komamura Sajin and Tōsen Kaname were locked in a grueling battle against their Arrancar opponents, appearing to be on the defensive.
In contrast, Gin Ichimaru, fighting alone, held a clear advantage, suppressing Devicca, the Arrancar second only to Gonaldo in spiritual pressure among the five experimental subjects.
"That silver-haired fellow is truly impressive. Honestly, I doubt I could match him in combat," Kurotsuchi Mayuri commented with genuine admiration.
Yusuke, observing Gin Ichimaru on the screen, stated calmly, "He's been concealing his true strength, even in a one-on-one battle, carefully avoiding his most potent techniques. If he unleashed his ultimate attack, it would be enough to instantly kill the number two experimental subject."
Gin Ichimaru's publicly known Bankai is the purely physical Kamishini no Yari, but Yusuke, as a time-traveler, was aware of his recently developed ultimate technique: a minuscule, almost imperceptible cavity hidden within Kamishini no Yari.
This cavity contained an extremely potent poison capable of dissolving spiritual energy; even Aizen, after absorbing the Hōgyoku, had nearly perished from this attack.
Kurotsuchi Mayuri's eyes widened in surprise. "A truly formidable individual, concealing his power so effectively."
Kurotsuchi Mayuri made no attempt to question Yusuke's source of information, knowing any inquiry would yield no genuine answer. He surmised that Yusuke's eyes might possess some ability to perceive secrets or read minds.
At that moment, an unexpected figure appeared on the monitor showing Kenpachi Kiganjō: Yomei Kagawa, the spy Yusuke had assigned to monitor Aizen.
Kurotsuchi Mayuri's expression shifted to one of curiosity. "Didn't you say the Seireitei only sent captains to deal with these experimental subjects? Why is Yomei Kagawa interfering?"
Yusuke considered this for a moment. "It's likely Aizen's orders. The sudden emergence of multiple Arrancar is highly unusual; Aizen sending him to investigate is perfectly logical."
"Then act quickly! If your carefully placed spy is eliminated, your efforts will be completely wasted," Kurotsuchi Mayuri cackled.
Yusuke calmly observed Yomei Kagawa, looking perpetually sleep-deprived, slowly approaching Gonaldo on the monitor screen. "Let's watch. I may not need to intervene."
"You call yourself a Gotei 13 captain? Pathetic!"
Gonaldo, brimming with arrogance after defeating Kenpachi Kiganjō, sneered, placing a foot on Kenpachi Kiganjō's head.
He had already activated his first Resurrección, his already substantial frame now clad in heavy armor, making him appear even more imposing. He wore a crown, wielded a massive staff, and draped a red and gold cape, resembling a Western emperor.
Kenpachi Kiganjō, barely breathing, was pinned to the ground, his head forced into the earth by Gonaldo's weight.
Despite his considerable strength, Kenpachi Kiganjō's overconfidence in facing the strongest of Yusuke's five experimental subjects alone proved to be his undoing.
Gonaldo, without further toying with Kenpachi Kiganjō, pressed his staff into Kenpachi Kiganjō's back, piercing him through.
Kenpachi Kiganjō let out a muffled scream, his life extinguished. The muffled sound was due to his head being buried in the ground.
Kicking Kenpachi Kiganjō's corpse aside, Gonaldo turned to Yomei Kagawa, who had just arrived, "You're a Gotei 13 Shinigami, aren't you? A captain fell to me, and you still haven't fled?"
Yomei Kagawa calmly glanced at Kenpachi Kiganjō's corpse, then responded in a flat tone, "Why does a fat man torment another fat man?"
Gonaldo was momentarily stunned, then roared in fury, "Damn you, you're going to die, and you still dare to be so flippant!"
As he spoke, Gonaldo slammed his staff into the ground, and a massive boulder materialized from the sky, plummeting towards Yomei Kagawa.
A flash of light, and Yomei Kagawa swiftly drew his Zanpakutō, cleaving the boulder in two.
The two halves of the boulder, undiminished in force, smashed into the ground on either side of Yomei Kagawa with earth-shattering force.
With the attack launched, Yomei Kagawa's expression instantly changed. His previously sleepy eyes sharpened, his body transforming into a blur as he instantly reappeared beside Gonaldo.
Seeing Gonaldo's armored form, Yomei Kagawa knew his Zanpakutō might not pierce his defenses.
With a swift flick of his wrist, his Zanpakutō, like a venomous snake, darted towards Gonaldo's eyes.
Gonaldo smirked, a powerful spiritual pressure enveloping him. Due to Gonaldo's unique spiritual energy, this pressure acted like gravity, exerting immense downward force.
The ground around Gonaldo instantly caved in, the soil becoming incredibly dense.
The pressure hampered Yomei Kagawa's movements, significantly reducing his speed and control.
Gonaldo, seizing the opportunity, swung his massive staff with tremendous force.
Despite his bulk, Gonaldo possessed surprising speed. A direct hit would pulverize Yomei Kagawa.
