And you claim you absolutely don't experiment on your subordinates," Mayuri Kurotsuchi said with a sardonic chuckle, watching the monitor displaying Gonaldo and his four accomplices in Soul Society, excitedly gathered around a box of Hōgyoku.
Yusuke smiled in response. "I'm not the hypocritical and unscrupulous boss you make me out to be. These fellows never intended to become my subordinates; they were experimental subjects who practically delivered themselves to me. I wouldn't refuse such a convenient opportunity."
With a gleam of amusement in his eyes, Yusuke asked, "Based on their current strength, what level of spiritual pressure increase do you predict they'll achieve after fusing with the Hōgyoku?"
Mayuri Kurotsuchi's eyes darted around before he replied, "Based on my calculations, at least a tenfold increase in spiritual pressure! But don't expect the same results from the Espada, especially those Vasto Lorde. They'll likely only see about a twofold increase at most."
Yusuke chuckled. "That's precisely the outcome I desired. If they were ten times stronger, I wouldn't be able to control them."
Mayuri Kurotsuchi looked puzzled. "Why not fuse with the Hōgyoku yourself? With your power, after fusing with the Hōgyoku, there would be no one in this world who could stand against you, right?"
"The intricacies of this world are far deeper than you imagine. In time, you will witness power beyond your current comprehension," Yusuke said calmly.
"Unfathomable power, you say? I eagerly anticipate it!" Mayuri Kurotsuchi responded with a peculiar smile, his eyes filled with intense anticipation.
In an undisclosed cave within Soul Society, Gonaldo and his group were huddled around a box filled with what they believed to be Hōgyoku, debating the best method to enhance their power.
They had tried various methods, attempting to use their spiritual pressure to guide the 'Hōgyoku's' energy to facilitate their Arrancarification, but to no avail.
Unbeknownst to them, the box contained not Hōgyoku, but Dōgyoku. While Dōgyoku could indeed facilitate their transformation into Arrancar, it lacked the potency of the Hōgyoku, and therefore couldn't be utilized simply through spiritual pressure manipulation.
As they reached an impasse, the observant Devicca noticed a piece of paper tucked beneath the box's lining.
Carefully extracting the paper, she unfolded it to reveal a considerable amount of text. Reading the contents aloud, she announced, "Dōgyoku Usage Instructions!"
Upon hearing Devicca's words, the others, who had been either engrossed in deep thought or engaged in heated arguments, immediately focused their attention on her.
Thanks to the instructions left behind by Yusuke and Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Gonaldo and his group finally understood the proper method for utilizing the five Dōgyoku.
The instructions clearly stated that the 'Dōgyoku' must be fused! By fusing with these 'Dōgyoku,' Hollows could not only achieve Arrancarification but also achieve a dramatic increase in spiritual pressure, and gain a power currently unavailable even to the Espada—multi-stage Resurrección.
Having grasped the 'Dōgyoku's' usage, Gonaldo and his group eagerly began the fusion process, following the instructions precisely.
They placed the 'Dōgyoku' against their chests, allowing the spiritual energy to slowly permeate their bodies. The azure energy flowed through their veins like liquid, gradually spreading throughout their bodies and forming a network of blue veins across their skin.
During this process, their internal spiritual pressure increased exponentially, pushing them to the very brink of their physical limits.
The explosive surge in spiritual pressure caused their bodies to repeatedly break down, and excruciating pain tormented them. The cave was filled with their heart-wrenching cries of agony.
While Gonaldo and his group underwent the Dōgyoku fusion, Yusuke and Mayuri Kurotsuchi observed their progress remotely via a monitor.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi, who had pre-installed monitoring devices within the Dōgyoku, meticulously tracked their physical changes and vital signs.
"What do you think? Will they survive?" Yusuke asked.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi responded with a smile, "Rest assured. The Dōgyoku can identify the host's life state and will push their potential to the absolute limit, but will stop short of pushing them beyond that limit."
As Mayuri Kurotsuchi predicted, despite their bodies constantly teetering on the brink of collapse, the Dōgyoku's energy prevented their complete destruction. Their life force, far from diminishing, steadily increased.
After approximately twenty minutes, the agonizing ordeal finally concluded.
Their Hollow-like bone armor began to recede, revealing human-like forms beneath. Unlike other Arrancar, they each possessed a strange gemstone embedded in their chests, a blend of azure and crimson, radiating dozens of azure veins outwards.
Having never before wielded such immense spiritual power, their spiritual pressure uncontrollably radiated outwards, filling the cave with palpable spiritual energy.
Based solely on their current spiritual pressure, their power was already on par with the top four Espada, all of whom are Vasto Lorde-class!
"With this level of spiritual pressure, the entire world will tremble before us!"
Gonaldo, the leader, roared excitedly, his spiritual pressure surging uncontrollably, creating waves of spiritual energy in the surrounding air.
The others shared his exhilaration, staring in disbelief at their hands, utterly astonished by the terrifying power they now possessed.
After a brief period of adjustment, they managed to regain control of their power, successfully containing their spiritual pressure within their bodies.
"Gonaldo, what's our next step? Should we return to Hueco Mundo immediately?" Devicca asked.
A cruel smile spread across Gonaldo's face. "No need to rush. We can recruit some followers in Soul Society first. Besides, I've long resented those Soul Reapers. With our current power, destroying Soul Society should be well within our capabilities!"
The others nodded in agreement.
Despite their newfound power, a deep-seated fear of Yusuke, the ruler of Hueco Mundo, remained. Honestly, they lacked the courage to directly confront him.
Back in Las Noches, Yusuke and Mayuri Kurotsuchi continued their discussion regarding the Dōgyoku experiment.
"How long will their enhanced power persist?" Yusuke inquired.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi replied with a smile, "Long enough for the experiment's completion. However, before their power diminishes, the Gotei 13 might well have annihilated them all."
Yusuke chuckled, "With their current strength, the Gotei 13 would need to deploy at least half their captains to eliminate them."
