"Captain Urahara, you're too kind. I gratefully accept," Yusuke Uchiha replied with a smile.
Soon, Yusuke Uchiha and Kisuke Urahara arrived at Tenkui Springs, a natural hot spring nestled deep in the mountains beyond the Seireitei.
Despite its secluded location, the surrounding structures were lavish, clearly indicating the establishment's focus on high-end clientele.
"Captain Uchiha, this is Soul Society's finest hot spring. It's incredibly relaxing and reputed to have a soul-nurturing effect. It's quite expensive, I must admit!" Kisuke Urahara explained.
Tenkui Springs was indeed expensive, frequented primarily by the Seireitei's noble Shinigami. For Kisuke Urahara, who wasn't known for his wealth, this was a significant expense; the two coupons he possessed were a gift from Yoruichi Shihōin.
Yusuke Uchiha chuckled. "Then I'm truly indebted to you, Captain Urahara. I'll return the favor sometime."
Yusuke Uchiha intended to cultivate a positive relationship with Kisuke Urahara. Gaining his and Yoruichi Shihōin's trust could provide unexpected advantages.
They entered Tenkui Springs' changing room, donned towels, and proceeded to the hot spring.

Their conversation then shifted to matters within the Gotei 13. Kisuke Urahara, a highly sociable and gossipy individual, shared several intriguing Seireitei anecdotes with Yusuke Uchiha.
For example, he revealed that Lisa Yadōmaru, the 8th Division's lieutenant, had a penchant for women, and that Shinji Hirako, the 5th Division captain, dedicated over two hours daily to hair care.
With the conversation winding down, Kisuke Urahara prepared to begin his probing of Yusuke Uchiha.
Observing the steam fogging Yusuke Uchiha's glasses, Kisuke Urahara smiled. "Captain Uchiha, your glasses are quite fogged. Doesn't that affect your vision? Perhaps you should remove them?"

A short time later, while carrying a cup of sake, Kisuke Urahara feigned a stumble, spilling the sake onto Yusuke Uchiha's glasses.
"Oh dear, Captain Uchiha, I do apologize! But given our current situation, perhaps you could remove your glasses and rinse them off in the hot spring?" Kisuke Urahara suggested.
Yusuke Uchiha nodded, bending slightly to rinse his glasses in the water, clearly showing no intention of removing them.
After a further interval, Kisuke Urahara produced another pair of glasses, offering them enthusiastically. "Captain Uchiha, this pair was a gift from Ginjirō Shirogane, the owner of Gin Tonbo. Unfortunately, they don't fit me. Perhaps you'd like to try them on? Incidentally, Ginjirō is one of your subordinates."
Yusuke Uchiha waved his hand. "Thank you for your generosity, Captain Urahara, but glasses require a specific prescription; I doubt these would be suitable for me."
Kisuke Urahara smiled. "Don't worry; I sponsored Gin Tonbo. Thanks to my technology, these glasses automatically adjust to the wearer's prescription!"
Kisuke Urahara then presented the exquisitely crafted glasses to Yusuke Uchiha, offering them with an almost insistent gesture.
At this point, Yusuke Uchiha sighed dramatically, waving his hand. "Thank you for your kindness, Captain Urahara, but I truly cannot accept them.
To be frank, these glasses hold a special significance for me; they are connected to a story I've never shared with anyone."

Yusuke Uchiha then began to recount a fabricated tale closely tied to his glasses, a story that lasted nearly an hour, which Kisuke Urahara listened to patiently.
Afterward, Yusuke Uchiha sighed again. "Captain Urahara, that's why I always wear these glasses. I hope you understand."
To Kisuke Urahara's astonishment, Yusuke Uchiha then voluntarily removed his glasses, wiping away a tear from the corner of his eye.
Kisuke Urahara had anticipated a hidden mechanism, but Yusuke Uchiha had removed his glasses willingly, and nothing unusual was revealed.
In truth, after Yoruichi Shihōin's probing, Yusuke Uchiha had anticipated that his attachment to his glasses might arouse suspicion in both Yoruichi Shihōin and Kisuke Urahara. His never removing them was also suspicious.

Kisuke Urahara looked saddened. "Nothing out of the ordinary. It seems he's a man with a story of his own. Perhaps I was overly suspicious."
