On a dark and stormy night, a shadowy figure was stealthily searching for something on the outskirts of Konoha Village.
"It should be around here. Once I find the body of 'Shunshin Shisui,' then the mission Orochimaru-sama gave me will be complete." The figure muttered to himself.
This figure was Mizuki. He was one of Orochimaru's spies in Konoha.
In the original story, because of the existence of the talented Kabuto, Orochimaru abandoned Mizuki and made Kabuto his spy in Konoha.
But now that Kabuto had been poached by Yusuke, Mizuki luckily became Orochimaru's second choice.
Since being chosen by Orochimaru, Mizuki hadn't felt fear or resistance. Instead, he felt it was a huge opportunity for him!
Mizuki was an ambitious man. Unfortunately, the harsh reality made him unable to see hope for realizing his ambitions.
He didn't have any exceptional talent, nor was he as pure and righteous as Iruka. After graduating from the Ninja Academy, Mizuki blended into the crowd, just an unremarkable genin among many.

Because of his nervousness, Mizuki felt that his speech was less fluent than usual. Even when facing the Third Hokage, he had never felt this way.
Forcing down his nervousness, Mizuki encouraged himself: "He's just a person too. He wouldn't think about my identity. I'm going to shock this high-ranking official!"
"Orochimaru sent you, didn't he? Go ahead. What does he want from me?" Yusuke said slowly.
Hearing Yusuke's words, Mizuki was shocked.
The information that Orochimaru had given him mentioned that he hadn't revealed his identity as a spy to anyone.
