The James River cuts through Richmond, dividing the city into north and south.
In the middle of the river is a spindle-shaped Mayo Island, about one hundred meters wide north to south, and six hundred meters east to west. A highway bridge crosses the river from the island, linking it to the outside world.
On the island, there are parking lots, gas stations, along with supermarkets, fast food restaurants, furniture stores, and the like. After the apocalypse came, this place was looted, and even the buildings were burned down.
Now, a company of Mexican subordinate army has arrived here by boat, under the command of 'Dongda' and 'Little Pingtou', establishing a 'relief station' on the island.
The once brightly lit supermarket is now just a huge shell of a building.
Upon arrival, the subordinate army dismantled the tilted supermarket sign and broken doors and windows, using simple wooden boards for temporary closures.
