Chapter 44 - Chapter 41

Travelling on the sea at night was beautiful.

Sasuke and Izumi could not help but appreciate the full moon that was high up in the clear sky, and its reflection forming a beautiful line, illuminating their path for them.

Importantly, the waters were a lot calmer at night, and running down on it was very peaceful.

They reached the first island by midnight but did not stop and continued to the next island, which was much larger and a couple of hundred kilometres away. It was almost dawn, and Enma asked them to rest and train for the rest of the day if they wished, and most did exactly that.

After their meal, all performed their morning exercises with their tired bodies, and by noon, they were all asleep.

After waking up in the evening, they set off right after taking their meals and covered a thousand kilometres, crossed three islands, and stopped at the fourth one at dawn.

They followed the same routine the next evening, covering another thousand kilometres at night, but this time, they were all very alert as they were getting closer and closer to the main archipelago.

Enma kept a watch as everyone rested or meditated, and in the evening, they set out again, but the sea was no longer calm, and they had to be very careful.

Usually, running on water was easier than walking, and it was the same case here. However, running over raging waters was Chakra Control Training of very high difficulty, and they only managed to cover 300 kilometres that night. They could have pushed harder, but it was unwise to take unnecessary risks.

Enma refused to let the team stay on small islands, and after five more nights of treading through raging waters, they finally reached the main island of the Archipelago, where Kiri was located, somewhere hidden in the mountains, covered in mist, staying true to its name.

The Uzumaki made his team rest for a few days as he took his time to gather intel with Tokuma and Izumi, even infiltrated Kiri, and four days later, the team assembled to draw up a plan.

"The rebel forces are spread throughout the village..." Izumi drew up the map of Kiri and marked the Tower of Mizukage. "We need to avoid getting detected by both the Rebels and the Mizukage's Shinobi Force, and especially the Kiri Anbu." She said and marked some places. "Enma has planted Explosive Tags here, here... No lives will be lost, but it will create enough distraction to raise an alarm in the village. He will set this alarm off after we have closed in on the Mizukage Tower in the middle of the night. He will engage with the Mizukage, and our task is only to make sure that no one interferes in their battle."

They all frowned at her words, and Hana worriedly looked at the Uzumaki.

"How long do you need, Captain?"

"I will try to end things in thirty minutes."

"Chances of success?" Kakashi asked, not hiding his worries.

"100%. Once all of you successfully complete your tasks."

They were surprised at his words.

"Karatachi Yagura is being controlled by someone using a very powerful Genjutsu." Hyuga Tokuma revealed to them. "According to Captain, the Genjutsu is so strong that the moment it is dispelled, Yagura will likely fall into a coma or lose his sanity. It's probably been active for several years now. Even being a Jinchuriki won't be able to save him from the damage his brain will suffer."

"He's being controlled?" Hana looked shocked.

"Yes."

"How can someone so strong be controlled by a Genjutsu?" Sasuke frowned.

"Uchiha Madara controlled the Nine-Tailed Fox with his Sharingan." Enma lightly said.

"That was Madara..." His best friend rolled his eyes.

"And Yagura with his Three-Tails is not as strong as Kyuubi." He meaningfully said and then heard Izumi speak.

"A person can be physically very strong, but there is no guarantee that he or she will be just as mentally strong. In moments of weakness, even the best of people can be manipulated by simple words, and there's a Genjutsu in play here. We don't know how he fell under it. We don't know who did it. And we do not need to be concerned about any of it. That's not our mission."

"She's right. Let's focus on our mission." He said and they all nodded their heads.

"What's our task, Captain?" Shin asked, and they all looked at Enma, waiting for his answer.

"Have you read the guides that I gave you?"

"Yes!" They all answered in unison.

"Inside that storage seal are three large Scrolls. One is Green, the second is Blue, and the third is Red. You will be divided into groups of three, and your task is to reach the three points Izumi has marked on the map..."

At his words, they looked at the points around the Mizukage Tower.

It was a perfect triangle when Izumi connected the three points, set two hundred metres apart from each other.

"At these three points, you will take out those Blue Scrolls and place them in this formation." Enma showed them how to do it by taking the three Blue Scrolls and placing the seals on top of each other. "Understood?"

"Yes!"

He nodded his head and showed them exactly what they had to do.

"That's it. That's all you have to do. And as soon as you have placed these Scrolls like this on these points, you will take out the Red Scrolls, and without using your blood, you will perform the Reverse Summoning Jutsu, placing your palms on the seal that is planted in them."

"What will that do?" Tokuma curiously asked.

"You will be summoned out of Kiri. We will select a hideout, within 300 Kilometres of Hidden Mist. There, nine of my Clones will be supplying Chakra into Seal on the Green Scrolls, which you will mark with your blood. As soon as you will use the Reverse Summoning, you will be teleported inside our hideout. In case you need to get out early for some reason, do not hesitate to use the the Red Scroll to escape."

"What does that Blue Scroll do?" Sasuke curiously asked.

"It aids a special Barrier Jutsu. It will cover the Mizukage Tower and everything else inside that tetrahedron. A Barrier Strong enough that it will give me the thirty minutes I need."

"How will you get out?" He frowned and narrowed his eyes at Enma's silence.

"I have my escape covered." He said and smiled. "Remember, Akaisen can not lose a member. We can not fail any mission. So, we must always play safe. Prioritise your safety. We can abort the mission and try it another day, in another way, but if you lose your life, the mission does not matter."

"So, that alarm that you will set off is to make, at least, some people leave the Mizukage Tower?" Yugao frowned as she looked at the map.

"No. It's to create a distraction for you to reach your target points. It doesn't matter how many people remain inside the Mizukage Tower. Once sealed inside the Pyramid, the place will fall under my control, and I can easily isolate anyone inside it."

They all surprisedly looked at him.

"How much Chakra does such a Jutsu cost?" Hana apprehensively asked.

"A lot." He did not answer the question, and the Inuzuka did not ask again either.

Enma then discussed the plan in more detail before he formed their Teams.

"Shin, Kakashi, and Sasuke. You are Team A. Kakashi will lead."

"Yes!"

"Yugao, Hana, and Izumi. You are Team B. Izumi will lead."

"Yes!"

"Yamato, Tokuma, and Torune. You are Team C. Yamato will lead."

"Yes!"

"Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari. You are Team D. I will inform you about your mission later."

The Three Sand Siblings nodded their heads.

"Mark the seals on your Green Scrolls with your blood." Enma ordered his Team.

All of them took out the large green Scrolls from their Storage Seals on the Armbands and opened them, marking their blood.

The Uzumaki collected all of their Scrolls inside his own armband, and then led them all out to find a suitable hideout in 300 kilometre radius of Kiri.

The temperature on the main island was quite low, and as evening came, fog descended, covering everything and making it incredibly hard to even see a few metres away.

However, with their Sensory Superiority, the group travelled quietly, avoiding getting dected by people, whether Shinobi or Civilians.

The group searched for a place all night, keeping watch on the movements of people, and in the end, chose a place that was east of Kiri, about 270 kilometres away, in the mountains, where snow was falling.

They stayed up until noon making their plans for the route and discussing the finer details of the misison, and after their meal, all of them went to sleep.

Exactly six hour later, when the sky had started to darken over Kiri, they left the Hideout, where only nine of Enma's Shadow Clones stayed, in charge of the nine Green Scrolls.

The Team did not rush but took an easy pace as they approached the Hidden Mist, and six hours later, at midnight, they were standing in front of Kiri's Sensory Barrier.

Enma opened a small scroll, and weaved a few Hand Seals before he created a Barrier Tunnel inside Kiri's Sensory Barrier, and all ten of them easily got past it without alerting anyone.

Once inside, they hid their Forehead Protectors and changed their appearances, and then each Team rushed into a different directions.

Only Enma Stayed back, keeping eyes on everyone, and then rushed straight towards the Mizukage Tower, transforming into a Kiri Anbu.

Once the Team got close enough, he set the alarms off, and a series of explosions rocked the Hidden Mists's Sensory Barrier and the Crescent Wall.

Instantly, the entire Village was in an uproar, probably thinking that they had been attacked by some foreign forces, and the distraction was good enough for his Team to reach closer to the Mizukage Tower.

Enma rushed forward when he sensed that Team A had been spotted by the Kiri Anbu, but thankfully, they were the closest of the Tower.

Izumi had used a Genjutsu to easily reach the point, and Yamato led his Team to the C point as well and were now waiting for this signal.

As soon as Enma got close enough, he sent them a signal in form of one final explosion, with was near the port, and then weaved a long series of hand seals.

Thirty seconds later, he smashed his hands on the ground, and instantly, the seals on the Blue Scrolls activated.

His Team too successfully made it out, and before anyone in Kiri could truly understand what was happening, the Mizukage Tower was caged inside a Pyramid, which no one could break into or escape.

The Uzumaki then rushed in, closing spaces, isolating everyone, and reached the top of the roof, where the Fourth Mizukage was waiting for him.

His curious eyes stared at him, but it was too late.

Yagura rushed forward to attack before his entire world suddenly started twisting, and when things became clear again, he was pinned to the floor with white Chakra Chains, and his connection with the Three Tails had been blocked.

The Fourth Mizukage struggled against the chains that were absorbing his Chakra, leaving his body paralysed, and then watched the Anbu take out a large black wooden gourd, with a wooden stopper.

He wanted to speak, but it was incredibly hard for him to move his tongue, and then his mind blanked when the the masked Shinobi smacked his claw into his belly, which ruptured his Jinchuriki Seal.

Enma sensed the Three-Tails regain consciousness, and quickly open the gourd.

He sent out his Chakra Chains inside Yagura's body, and started the new Sealing Process.

Completing a complex series of hand seals in a minute, he formed the last Seal of Confrontation, and the Three Tails and its Chakra were guided right into the Wooden Gourd by his Chakra Chains.

The process took exactly twenty minutes, and Yagura was left on the verge of death.

His Chains briefly blinked, freeing the mind of the Mizukage from the Genjutsu that was controlling him, allowing him a few moments of clarity before the last of his Chakra was drained and he lost his life.

Enma hooked the gourd to his back with the Chakra Chains, and sealed Yagura's body inside a scroll.

Once he was ready to leave, he covered everything inside the Pyramid in his Genjutsu, tranformed into Yagura, and then put on a show for the Kiri as they watched their Mizukage Break through the Barrier and a chase two masked men from Iwa.

On the other side, in the Hidden Mist, and woman was standing next to her trusted friend, and her brows furrowed as she watched Yagura disappear into the fog.

"Ao?"

"Those two Iwa-Nin are strong."

"How strong?"

"Their Chakra Pools are off the charts..." He apprehensively said.

"Oh?"

"And Yagura? How did he managed to break past that Barrier?"

"I don't know," said the man with a single Byakugan, shaking his head. "The enemies probably opened the Barrier to escape when they saw him use Sanbi's Chakra..." he tensed up and turned around, and Mei had already sensed the danger and she was smiling.

There was someone standing there now.

"You are not a Kiri Anbu."

"I am not, Lady Mei," It was an unfamiliar voice, young and magnetic, and the man continued speaking, "The Hokage and Suna have fulfilled their end of the deal. Yagura is dead. I have made things easy for you to put the blame on Iwa. Your people will think that Hidden Stone has kidnapped your Mizukage. You can take charge of the Village now."

His words shocked the two of them.

"Meet us at the Modoroki Shrine on Nagi Island exactly on day fifty from now to receive his body, Kubikiribocho, and Kiba. We will find you there. Do not miss the date or else you will have to come to Konoha to receive your things."

Before either Mei or Ao could react, the Shadow Clone dispelled itself.

"Mei-sama..."

"Shut up, Ao." The auburn-haired lady frowned, and then took a deep breath. "Prepare to take over the Village."

"Mei-sama, Konoha can not be trusted."

"Shut up."

"Yes..."
