Scorpion stuck to Poisonous Snake's ear, carefully explaining to him why Eagle was so furious.
But Poisonous Snake didn't care at all. Instead, he smiled, pulled a golden bank card from his inner pocket, toyed with it in his hand, and grinned at Eagle:
"My friend, I don't think there's anything in this world that money can't buy."
"Look at this Swiss Gold Card in my hand—there's fifty million in it. Think of it as my apology to your Snake God, how about that?"
Hearing this, Eagle's face turned green then pale, looking extremely ugly.
But very quickly, a smile surfaced on his face. He said, "My dear partner, you couldn't be more right."
As he spoke, he raised his hand and fired two shots at the so‑called Snake God behind him, then pulled a grenade from his pocket, yanked out the pin, and hurled it straight at his "Snake God."
"Boom—!"
In the night, a small mushroom cloud rose into the air. The Net Python was blown into two pieces, still twitching and writhing non‑stop.
