These tomb guardians had long lost their sanity, trapped by obsession, reduced to puppets guarding this abyss.
With a thought, a gentle golden light suddenly appeared on his body, enveloping him and the young monk within.
Then, the two of them resolutely descended.
Seeing this, some of the tomb guardians, with a flicker of madness in their once dazed eyes, howled even more pitifully and pounced downwards.
Finally someone, unable to suppress their curiosity, summoned a magical treasure and cautiously followed downward.
Upon reaching the bottom of the abyss, they discovered the two monks sitting quietly in meditation, murmuring the Rebirth Mantra.
The great monk looked peaceful, while the young monk was full of piety.
