He pointed to his designed flag, which was a depiction of the sun rising in the east.
In the upper right corner is a round sun, and below it are wavy lines representing the endless flood.
Amidst the flood, there is a triangular symbol representing Yangshan.
He explained his design concept once, excitedly saying, "The sun here represents both brightness and the future of Yangshan Shelter."
"In the future we are sure to overcome the flood disaster and continue living."
After listening, everyone nodded and applauded, many being moved by his words.
