Upon hearing that Jerome Bonaparte would not allow him to return to settle in Algiers, Abdul Kader's expression froze; it was evident that he was somewhat displeased with not being able to return to Algiers.
Seeing this, Jerome Bonaparte immediately let out a cold laugh and said to Abdul Kader, "Mr. Kader, do you still harbor thoughts in your mind of returning to Algiers and opposing France?"
"Your Majesty, of course not!" Abdul Kader vehemently denied, "Since being defeated by the Imperial Army, I have sworn to Allah never to oppose France again!"
"Then, Mr. Kader, are you willing to accept this condition?" Jerome Bonaparte continued to inquire of Abdul Kader.
"Your Majesty, I assure you that I will never set foot on Algiers' soil again in my lifetime!" Abdul Kader immediately assured Jerome Bonaparte.
At this point, Abdul Kader knew he didn't have any bargaining chips and could only comply with the demands of this Emperor in front of him, hoping to walk out of prison.
