"Ha!!!" Deidara raised his index and middle fingers to his chest, shouting loudly. "Boom!!!!" A massive explosion thundered through the temple, blasting a huge hole in the wall. Thick smoke filled the air, obscuring everything.

Uchiha Itachi landed gracefully, unharmed, his body crouched low before slowly straightening. His expression remained calm and emotionless as he gazed steadily at Deidara in the distance. Clearly, Deidara's attack hadn't posed any real threat to him.

"Hmph! Not bad, huh?!" Deidara sneered, quickly forming another hand seal with one hand. "Hmm?" Itachi seemed to sense something, his gaze shifting downward. Suddenly, a white clay centipede erupted from the ground beneath Itachi, swiftly coiling around his body like lightning.

"Hmph! Now you can't escape! I thought you were some big shot with all that arrogance, but it turns out you're just mediocre!" Deidara laughed triumphantly, watching as Itachi was tightly bound by the clay centipede.

Itachi remained as expressionless as ever, his crimson three-tomoe Sharingan eyes betraying no emotion, still exuding an aura of complete composure. "Tch! What an irritating expression!" Deidara muttered, visibly annoyed by Itachi's seemingly all-knowing demeanor. He raised his fingers to his chest once more and shouted, "Time to send you to hell!!!"

Just as Deidara was about to detonate the clay centipede, Itachi suddenly spoke. "You might want to take a closer look at your own situation."

Hearing Itachi's words, Deidara froze, instinctively looking toward Itachi's eyes. In that moment, Deidara saw Itachi's eyes—now an even deeper, more sinister shade of crimson—staring back at him.

The scene shifted abruptly. Deidara's face turned pale as he realized the clay centipede that had been binding Itachi was now wrapped tightly around his own body.

"T-This is... genjutsu!!!" Deidara's face twisted in frustration, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "Heh, he almost got himself blown up," Kisame's eerie laugh echoed through the temple. Kisame stood nearby, smirking mockingly at Deidara, who was now trapped by his own technique, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes.

"Just another short-lived type," Sasori added coldly from beside Kisame, showing no mercy or respect for Deidara. "Damn it!!!" Deidara struggled fiercely, but the clay centipede held him fast, refusing to budge.

"When did this happen?!" Deidara managed to calm himself slightly, though his face was still contorted with anger and disbelief. "It was when you looked into Itachi's Sharingan earlier," Kisame explained with a twisted grin. "That's when you fell into his genjutsu."

"Damn it!!!" Deidara clenched his teeth, his mind reeling in shock. The sheer mastery of this genjutsu terrified him—he hadn't even noticed when he'd fallen under Itachi's spell. If Itachi hadn't warned him, he would have been blown to smithereens.

"You've lost." Itachi's calm voice cut through the tension. Deidara jerked his head up, only to see the golden light of dusk streaming through the hole in the wall, illuminating Itachi's figure. The setting sun obscured Itachi's face, but his crimson eyes glowed eerily in the dim light, exuding an otherworldly aura.

However, having already witnessed Miao's Sharingan in action, Deidara wasn't as shaken as he might have been in the original timeline. "Damn it!!! I'll definitely defeat you someday!!!" Deidara roared in fury, glaring at Itachi's perpetually composed expression.

"Heh, you think you can beat Itachi? Keep dreaming," Kisame taunted mercilessly, seeing Deidara's enraged state.

"Damn it!! I won't just sit here and let myself be captured—I refuse to join some organization!!!" Deidara raged internally, his thoughts spiraling out of control.

"Enough. You've lost. Come with us. We've already wasted too much time tracking you down," Kisame chuckled, slowly approaching Deidara.

Just then, a calm voice rang out, echoing through the ears of everyone present. "Deidara, you're pathetic. To be subdued so easily—you still have a long way to go with your art."

Upon hearing this voice, Deidara's face lit up with relief. Though normally irritating, the voice now sounded like salvation. Without caring about his dignity, he shouted, "You finally came back, you bastard! Did it really take you this long to buy food?! Hmm!"

At the sound of this unfamiliar voice, Itachi, Kisame, and Sasori's expressions shifted slightly. They turned sharply toward the temple entrance, where a slender figure emerged, silhouetted against the setting sun.

The newcomer had unruly black hair tied back with a white cord, bangs partially obscuring his right eye. His dark, piercing eyes and youthful yet striking features gave him a boyish charm. Dressed in a sleek black kimono, mesh ninja undershirt, and black pants, he exuded the confident presence of a skilled young shinobi.

This was Miao, who had finished shopping and was browsing the market when he faintly heard the explosion from the temple atop the mountain. Thanks to a ninja's superior senses, he immediately rushed back.
