Leonhardt's face scrunched up the moment he heard Kaelith's words, and Kaelith's hand dropped from his face. Then, suddenly, Leonhardt burst into laughter, and Kaelith arched a brow as he looked at him, surprised. Leonhardt laughed for a while, giggling uncontrollably until he finally stopped. When he did, Kaelith remained seated beside him, patiently waiting for an answer.
"What's so funny about what I said? Do I seem like a joke to you now?" Kaelith snapped, visibly frustrated.
Leonhardt looked at him again and raised his hand to gently turn Kaelith's face so they were eye to eye. Ever since Leonhardt had laughed, Kaelith had become increasingly conscious of his own actions and words. Now, he was deeply confused as Leonhardt reached out to him again.
