"I figured," he said with a shrug, his tone flat. "You're definitely possessive, because if not, you wouldn't care if your meal tag just died because of one king you don't give a fuck about."
"Yes, you can picture it that way," Veyron said with a nod, his voice even and cold. "And the same goes for Leonhardt. I don't really fancy the audience you're giving him, but that's that."
"Now, are you guys dating?" Veyron asked, tilting his head with a knowing smirk.
"You can say that," Kaelith mumbled under his breath, then added with a tired sigh, "Well, I've got to go."
Veyron watched him as he moved about and stood up from the bed. Without sparing a glance at Veyron, Kaelith turned towards the door in slow steps. Veyron also didn't say anything. He just watched him go, his expression unreadable.
