"What do you mean?" Leonhardt asked, confusion plastered on his face.
Kaelith sighed before saying, "Well, I'm sure you're aware of your brother's race, aren't you?"
"Of course I am," Leonhardt said, then with a harsh tone, shouted, "Don't tell me that son of a bitch laid his hands on you? Is he the one causing this? Is he harming you?"
"No, calm down," Kaelith said, shaking his head.
"Then what's the problem? What deaths? Be specific," Leonhardt said, growing impatient.
"Yes, I'll explain to you. So, just as you know that your brother is a half-vampire, I'm also sure you know that there are many continents in this world, one of which is ruled by vampires and of course, that's where your brother lives. My deal with your brother had simply been about the exchange of blood and convenience. And then came one death: raising his mother.
