Chapter 25 - Assiliant known

The scar exacerbated and launched through his entire arm.

'Millo, I always knew he was trouble. Back then and even now. Always making mischief.'

He cursed him some more and his thoughts started straying a bit.

He wondered if Millo truly excalated this.

There was no doubt in his mind that he was the one that was after him.

Another thought to put to mind was the orbs.

The orbs seemed to be placed in specifically selected individuals with obvious similarities like their rogue disposition and a substantial power level.

The purpose of the orbs from the system-given detailing was to be able to track the intendants through nightmares, luring them into a dream were Ravana herself can determine who the Celestial King was as she didn't know the body he would be reincarnated into but rather had a mana signature trace on the Celestial King's power level.

Though Xavier didn't know all these intricate functions of the orb, he knew another thing – that his orb seemed to be the only active one.

He was sure that if you go round the school more Trypanos orbs will be found in suspecting houses.

Probably, an assigned mana trace was designated to all the orbs and anyone that matches rightly with this was the Celestial King.

Cause there was no way that anyone let alone Mr Austin could have survived the Omega Climate.

It was too much for even him and he had infinite mana.

This new observation gripped in more worries.

If it had a delegated mana signature to trace, there was every chance that his assiliant already knew who he was and was lying in wait for him to make some kind if mistake or is taking some kind of strategic approach to end him or satisfiably.

This made him believe even stronger that Millo was the Shadow walker and perhaps not Mr Rhodes.

'Millo, an S-rank. Impossible.'

But there was no way of truly knowing. No way but to ask Millo himself.

'That would too precarious,' he fearfully thought. And if a fight were to break out he was in no shape to take on Millo.

Another idea popped in.

Max. He could tell him to look up Millo in the academy's database and give him key info on him.

He wasn't completely settled with this idea cause Max had already done so much for him and he too has demanded much.

What if he was truly advantage of Max position in the SCC. He didn't want to be deemed a bad friend.

He quickly shrugged off that feeling and went ahead to ask Max, pacifying his guilt with the thought, 'this is a matter of life and death.'

He quickly called Max and luckily he responded.

"Hey," Xavier bluntly observing his manner of reply.

"Hi, there. Are you feeling any better or should I come..."

"No, don't worry. But I need a favour."

"What kind of favour?"

"I need info about a guy named Millo in the our class."

"Millo?," Max halted for a while. He sought this strange. He wanted to decline but was too nice to do that to his hurt friend.

"Okay, give me a minute," he said with a little bit of reluctance in his speech.

Xavier felt kind of wrong but that wasn't prior now.

Moments later, Max called back and was back with some intruiging feedback.

Xavier could tell that he didn't have to go to the VR to get the required data but he assumed he could easily assess the data from his upgraded comm.

This showed how much faith the SCC head had in Max and he didn't want to ruin that so he told himself to tune it down with the requests.

"Millo Madden,..."

Xavier chucked a bit at the likeness of Millo's full name to a nursery rhyme.

"...17 years old. Shadow and earth element."

'So he was a Shadow walker and a dual elementalist for that matter.'

"But another thing is that he is not in our class. The database reveals he is from Class 2 and that he has been in Syllox Academy for about a year now."

"What!", he exclaimed sharply but quickly maintained composure to assure Max that he didn't know who Millo was and feed his suspisions.

"Okay, thanks a lot. Good night bro."

"Night."

So Millo was a Shadow walker. This greatly strength Xavier's adherence to him being the assiliant.

But he was a grade higher than him. How could this be?

He thought for a while and couldn't place a cognet conclusion so he just stopped and focused his mind on another prior objective – how to cure this scar?

He was almost through with absorbing all the cores Aisha gave him and was draining even faster.

He was flaccid and needed to cure this as quick as possible.

He wasn't good in maths but he knew that if this wasn't cured in two days minimum, thatbhe could consider this the end.

He knew within himself that the only person who had a cure for this was Aeloria, as only a god can undo another gods doings.

But she was all the way at the other side of their world. It would take him at least one week to get there on craft and he didn't have time to lose.

The quickest route across was through the route before. Though unpleasant and probably precarious he had to do it again.

He had to go back to the Omega realm, through the orb.

But he wasn't dumb.

Ofcourse, he needed to prepare for a battle before he attacks especially one he was beginning.

In his current state, he definitely had no chance if winning but he wasn't going to get any better so I guess he was going that way.

Still he needed more than himself and his skills. He needed some other stuff. Like a two day supply of orbs, something to shield him from the Omega climate– as he later got to know that was the proper term for the phenomenon. And as well a partner.
