"While you were busy playing with those useless idiots up north, our little guild stepped in and took care of the blood hall for you. You should have really not taken your eye off the prize, and now… oops… we have snatched it. He He."
Lucien laughed. The sneer on his face was clear, and his eyes were full of disdain and arrogance. "You don't mind a little friendly competition now, do you? It even gave me a sweet, sweet noble title. Who knew that this little title would be so handy with the vampires?"
Lucien laughed again and waited for Damon's expression to change. However, Damon's face remained as indifferent as ever.
