Chapter 135 - Did the Plot Bleed Into Reality? The Train Is Haunted!

The story shifts to Herta Space Station.

As soon as they arrive at the scene, Dan Heng appears in the plot.

Speaking in a grave tone, he says: "March, snap out of it. We need to hurry."

"Huh? Let's go? Where's Lady Fu Xuan?"

"Fu Xuan? Who's that? There's no time for daydreaming—the space station is in danger right now."

"Follow me."

This time, they didn't have to search for the interference sources one by one from the start.

They just had to follow Dan Heng.

Dan Heng's voice echoed again in the background: "According to Station Head Asta, the Star Core is stored in the room ahead. I suspect the Antimatter Legion is also very interested in it."

"This experience… feels familiar! It's from before we met Stelle."

"Then who is that? March, have you been acting strange this whole time—"

Just as they entered the Curio Collection Room, Dan Heng's figure suddenly faded away before vanishing completely from sight.

Meanwhile, Fu Xuan's intermittent voice could be heard:

"March… can you hear me…?"

"I am now increasingly convinced… that memories have been tampered with…"

After leaving this warning, Fu Xuan's voice disappeared entirely.

March 7th controlled her character as she entered through the main door.

The Curio Collection Room ahead suddenly spawned numerous characters—Arlan from the Security Department, Station Head Asta,

Herta's puppet… and at the far end stood Stelle alone, exuding an unshakable presence.

March 7th took a deep breath.

"Mr. Yang… why does this scene feel different from before?"

"It's lively yet eerie at the same time…"

When she turned around, March 7th froze.

Her hands loosened involuntarily, and her phone fell onto the table with a thud.

"Mr. Yang…!?"

"Wh-Where is everyone!?"

She stood up from the sofa and looked around.

Not only Mr. Yang—even Pom-Pom was gone!

The vast cabin was now completely empty, devoid of any presence!

March 7th was stunned, her mouth hanging open as if she had seen a ghost!

Only now did she realize—the train today felt unusually quiet, almost oppressively so!

"This can't be…"

"What could've taken Mr. Yang away in an instant?"

"Even if it were the most terrifying enemy, they couldn't have silenced him without even a cry for help…"

March 7th wanted to check the passenger cabins.

She hoped to find everyone there—or at least see Pom-Pom!

Just then, a voice suddenly came from her phone on the table.

"March 7th, even if you look back, all you'll find is a chaotic and ever-changing past."

March 7th shuddered in fright.

She turned and cautiously picked up her phone.

Only then did she realize that the in-game dialogue with Arlan had somehow been triggered.

"Must've accidentally tapped it when the phone fell just now…"

March 7th muttered to herself.

"Yeah, that's definitely what happened."

Of course, there was another possibility.

But March 7th forced herself not to dwell on it.

She continued the dialogue with Arlan.

"You are the last princess of Adlivun, the sole survivor of the Diamond World."

"That star was burned into an obsidian hell the moment Nanook ascended."

"Your parents, in despair, sent you—still in your cradle—into an icy ark, yet with hope as they watched you vanish into the stormy waves of the starry sea."

"You were found and raised by nameless souls. You are the only savior, the promise of rebirth."

March 7th had initially felt a chill from the eeriness, but seeing these words spoken by Aran, she couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Because—

this was the backstory she had made up for herself in a novel!

And now, it was being dredged up as subconscious content in this storyline!

The next one, Asta, was even more absurd.

Claiming she was once a Cruising Emissary.

March 7th immediately dismissed that idea.

She knew something was off.

Whether in the game or outside it, it felt as though she had stepped into some kind of… alternate reality.

An indescribable eerie atmosphere seemed to seep out from the game, even affecting the Astral Express!

For a moment, she wondered—had the game's plot somehow merged with reality?

But there was no choice.

The story had to continue.

"I have a feeling something else is about to happen…"

Dialogue with Herta.

This time, the backstory was even more outrageous!

So outrageous that even March 7th began to wonder—could this actually be true?

Because sometimes, the most unexpected answer is the truth.

Herta turned and said:

"March 7th, despite your appearance…"

"After being found by Himeko and freed from the six-phased ice sealing your body, you lost all memories of your past."

"Because you never had a past to begin with."

"You were once an Aeon—Aeons have no past. The moment they ascend, their existence, past and future, is drowned in the Path."

"March 7th's sin was losing the authority of a deity."

As she moved forward,

March 7th wondered—

if she really were an Aeon, which Path would she embody?

At the very end,

Stelle stood guard alone, like a final boss.

She spoke:

"Little March, stop reminiscing."

"What's the point of recalling the past? You've forgotten it, and that's for the best."

"The moment a Nameless boards the Express, it means rebirth. The road beneath our feet is one we'll never turn back on."

"Explore, pioneer—don't tarnish the Nameless' honor by looking back."

The in-game March retorted:

"Shut up."

"You're not her. Not even close."

"She would never stand here spouting nonsense, acting like these memories don't matter."

"I don't care who you are—disappear now, get out of my way, and stop impersonating my friend!"

[Enter Battle]

March 7th began controlling her quantum fleet to fight the enemy.

Just as her in-game self had declared, she would personally crush all these fakes blocking her path of Trailblazing and uncover the truth!

But what March 7th didn't know was—at this very moment, the sofas around her were filled with Memokeepers, entities resembling the Messengers!

They sat in a perfect circle, silently watching her play through the game's story.

One of them spoke in a voice only they could hear:

"She's still determined to keep digging, huh…"

"Should we… erase it?"

"Wait."

"Even if the upcoming plot might touch on those memories, it hasn't reached the point of no return yet."

"Erasing her memories is a last resort."

"Let's… give her a little more time."

To be continued…
