Meanwhile, Orochimaru stood atop the massive black snake, his hands weaving through seals as he unleashed all of his chakra.
"Secret Technique: Myriad Snakes Liquid Prison!"
The black snake opened its maw wide, its fangs spraying a toxic, emerald-green venom. From Orochimaru's sleeves emerged countless snakes, slithering forward to merge with the venomous spray. Together, they formed a deadly, corrosive tide that surged toward the incoming lightning slash.
Behind them, the thousand elite Konoha shinobi—each an upper-level ninja—unleashed their most devastating jutsu. These techniques, fueled by the chakra supplied by Katsuyu and their own reserves, reached scales and power levels befitting A-rank or even S-rank attacks.
Combined with Jiraiya and Orochimaru's formidable techniques, the resulting barrage of jutsu resembled a colossal tsunami of elemental energy, rising from the ground and crashing violently against Madara's radiant blue lightning slash.
On one side was the overwhelming might of Madara's radiating, electrically charged slash wave. On the other, a dazzling, multicolored tidal wave of combined ninjutsu. The two forces collided in a cataclysmic explosion that shook the very foundations of Konoha.
Amidst the deafening roar and blinding light, the Konoha shinobi watched in horror as Madara's unstoppable slash wave tore through their combined efforts. Despite the sheer scale and brilliance of their counterattack, the radiant blue lightning continued to advance, slicing through the colorful storm like a blade through paper.
The sight left the Konoha defenders feeling utterly hopeless. Their faces paled, and despair gripped their hearts. But Hiruzen Sarutobi and Sakumo Hatake, standing at the forefront, had anticipated this outcome. They moved swiftly, launching themselves forward with unwavering resolve.
Hiruzen roared as he charged ahead, his Adamantine Staff glowing with intense Fire Release chakra. With both hands gripping the staff, he swung it forward with all his might, slamming it directly into the advancing lightning slash.
Sakumo followed suit, his White Fang blade crackling with razor-sharp Lightning Release chakra. He leapt forward, slashing at the radiant wave with incredible speed and precision.
One black, one white. One heavy and forceful, the other sharp and piercing. The two legendary shinobi worked in perfect harmony, pushing back against the seemingly invincible slash wave.
Despite their combined strength, however, the lightning slash proved too overwhelming. No matter how hard they pushed, the radiant wave continued to advance, though its speed seemed to slow slightly under their relentless assault.
Behind them, Jiraiya and Orochimaru grew increasingly desperate.
"Gamabunta! Draw your blade!" Jiraiya commanded. Gamabunta unsheathed his massive tanto, charging forward to join the fray.
Orochimaru ordered the black snake to open its jaws wide, its venomous fangs clamping down on the lightning slash in an attempt to halt its progress.
Six figures—four shinobi and two summons—fought together with everything they had. Yet, despite their combined efforts, the lightning slash pushed them back relentlessly. Terrifying arcs of electricity lashed out, scorching their bodies and inflicting severe injuries.
Seeing this, Tsunade acted quickly. She performed a series of hand seals, commanding Katsuyu to act.
"Katsuyu-sama! Please heal them and transfer all remaining chakra to them!"
In response, Katsuyu withdrew from the other shinobi, focusing her healing energy entirely on the six frontline fighters. Her soothing chakra flowed into their wounds, rapidly restoring their strength and vitality. Empowered once more, they resumed their desperate struggle against the unrelenting wave.
Slowly but surely, their combined efforts began to take effect. The towering hundred-meter-tall lightning slash, which had been advancing inexorably, started to slow. Though the radiant blue energy still surged forward, there were faint signs that it might finally be halted.
The Konoha shinobi behind them let out cries of relief, and even Tsunade allowed herself a glimmer of hope.
However, within the towering form of Susano'o, Madara Uchiha merely shook his head. His fully charged Susano'o-enhanced lightning slash was not so easily stopped. Against someone like Hashirama Senju, perhaps resistance would have been possible. But these shinobi?
As if to prove his point, the lightning slash suddenly intensified, its cutting edge sharpening further. The four shinobi and two summons felt an overwhelming force crash against them—a force akin to a mountain collapsing. It was nearly impossible to withstand!
With a thunderous explosion, the lightning slash broke through their defenses.
Their eyes widened in shock as the attack overwhelmed them. The razor-sharp slash struck the Adamantine Staff, cleaving a massive gash into Enma's supposedly indestructible body. Enma's anguished cry echoed through the battlefield as the lightning surged toward Hiruzen.
Sakumo felt his weapon grow lighter as his White Fang blade shattered under the immense pressure. The lightning slammed into him, sending him flying backward.
Gamabunta's tanto snapped under the strain, and the black snake's fangs were obliterated. Both summons, along with Orochimaru and Jiraiya, were engulfed by the raging torrent of electricity.
Tsunade screamed as Katsuyu was torn apart by the relentless wave. Behind her, the thousand elite Konoha shinobi could only watch in terror as the lightning slash swept over them, annihilating everything in its path.
Not a single one of the thousand upper-level shinobi escaped. The battlefield was consumed by the overwhelming power of Madara's unstoppable attack.
