Madara Uchiha, controlling his Complete Body Susanoo, flew directly in front of the Nine-Tails before it could fully react. With a swift motion, he shoved the Tailed Beast Bombâstill cradled in his Susanoo's handsâback into the beast's gaping maw. Not stopping there, Madara's Susanoo even pressed the Nine-Tails' jaws shut and held them tightly closed to prevent it from spitting the bomb out
The Nine-Tails froze, its slit-like pupils wide with shock. Before it could comprehend what had just happened, Madara's Susanoo tilted its chin upward slightly, forcing the massive beast to swallow involuntarily. A loud gulp echoed through the battlefield as the Nine-Tails ingested its own devastating attack.
The spectators from Konoha stood frozen in disbelief, their jaws collectively dropping at the sight. For several seconds, an eerie silence settled over the ruins, broken only by the crackling of residual fires consuming what remained of the village.
Then, after about five agonizing seconds of quiet, a deafening explosion erupted from within the Nine-Tails' stomach. Its entire body swelled outward violently, centered around its bloated abdomen. The force of the internal detonation was so immense that the ground beneath trembled ominously.
Once the dust settled, Madara's Susanoo released its grip on the Nine-Tails and took a cautious step back. The Nine-Tails' previously swollen belly slowly deflated like a punctured balloon, leaving behind nothing but despair in its crimson eyes. Its massive form wavered unsteadily before collapsing heavily onto the ground, utterly defeated.
With labored breaths, the once-mighty Nine-Tails lay sprawled across the wreckage, panting heavily. From its mouth spilled a grotesque mixture of fluids too vile to describeâa far cry from the indomitable creature it had been moments ago. It was now little more than a broken husk of its former self, trembling and gasping for air.
Never in its wildest nightmares did the Nine-Tails imagine being defeated in such a humiliating manner. Though reluctant to admit it, the truth was undeniableâit had lost. The Tailed Beast Bomb exploding inside its body had torn apart its insides, leaving it critically injured. While the Nine-Tails, composed primarily of chakra, couldn't truly die, its current state rendered it incapacitated. Even with time, healing would take far longer than usual under these conditions.
Driven by desperation, the gravely wounded Nine-Tails clawed frantically at the ground, attempting to flee. With the battle clearly lost, staying meant facing either re-sealing or enslavement by Madara Uchiha. Despite its weakened condition, hatred burned fiercely in its eyes as it struggled to rise, determined to escape.
"Beast! Did I say you could leave?" Madara's voice boomed across Konoha, amplified by his towering Susanoo. Standing atop the forehead of his ethereal warrior, he formed hand seals with deliberate precision.
"Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!"
His declaration echoed throughout the village, freezing everyone in place. To the people of Konoha, hearing those words carried profound significance. Wood Releaseâthe legendary power of Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, who had used it to pacify the chaotic world. And now, here was Madara Uchiha, his lifelong rival, wielding that same ability?
Most villagers were filled with awe, confusion, and fear, while those privy to the fact that Madara possessed Wood Release felt their hearts sink. As the jutsu took effect, the ground beneath Konoha began to quake violently. Massive trees burst forth from the earth, growing at an alarming rate and obliterating everything in their path. Buildings were crushed, streets reduced to rubble, and countless civilians and shinobi perished in the chaos.
Within moments, a dense forest sprouted around the struggling Nine-Tails, encompassing nearly half of Konoha. This portion of the village was utterly destroyed, reduced to splinters and debris. Hiruzen Sarutobi and the other shinobi watched helplessly as their home was decimated right before their eyes, unable to intervene.
The Nine-Tails stared in sheer terror at the rapidly growing trees surrounding it, its pupils dilating in panic. It recognized this technique all too wellâHashirama's dreaded Wood Release, the bane of all tailed beasts. What made this moment even more unbearable was the cruel irony: both the Sharingan and Wood Release, the two bloodline traits most effective against tailed beasts, resided within Madara Uchiha, its greatest nemesis.
Desperate to escape, the Nine-Tails thrashed wildly, but it was already too late. Thick vines snaked up its limbs, binding it tightly in place. Each vine grew thicker and stronger, wrapping around the colossal beast until it was completely immobilized. Try as it might, the injured Nine-Tails lacked the strength to break free. Had it been at full power, a single use of Deep Forest Emergence wouldn't have sufficed to restrain it. But in its current state, barely clinging to life, resistance was futile.
As the Wood Release took hold, the trees began siphoning chakra directly from the Nine-Tails' body. Weakened further, the beast found itself trapped indefinitely, its energy drained faster than it could regenerate. This left it perpetually crippled, unable to heal or fight back. Enraged and humiliated, the Nine-Tails roared defiantly, cursing Madara's name.
But its defiance was short-lived. More vines wrapped tightly around its jaw, silencing its cries. Bound, broken, and powerless, the mighty Nine-Tails was finally subdued.
Madara brushed imaginary dust from his hands, a satisfied smirk playing on his lips. Unlike previous encounters where he relied on his Eternal MangekyĆ Sharingan to subjugate the beast, this victory felt far more fitting for someone of his stature. Direct suppression, without resorting to genjutsu or seals, suited his style perfectly.
Turning his gaze toward the remaining shinobi of Konoha, Madara's Susanoo loomed menacingly over the crowd. Hiruzen and the others tensed, bracing themselves for whatever came next. Their expressions mirrored the collective horror of the village, as they realized that Madara Uchihaâan enemy thought long goneâwas now standing before them, stronger and more terrifying than ever.
