But her ending was perhaps a bit too bleak.

When the claws swiped past his ears, he felt as if he had momentarily lost his hearing.
The scratches on the cliff face and the gouges in the earth were all Torachiyo's doing.
Finally, Bai Luo was forced into a corner, with nowhere left to dodge.
A cold glint seemed to flash on her sharp claws.
Torachiyo's claws slapped mercilessly toward Bai Luo.
However, she didn't notice the cunning light flashing in Bai Luo's eyes.
Ducking low, Bai Luo barely evaded her claws and flashed behind her.
"Demonic Sword Invasion!"
The single-handed sword in his hand slashed viciously at Torachiyo's back.
Whether the black aura had a defensive function, or the clothes she wore were treasures in themselves, Bai Luo's horizontal slash didn't achieve much.
It merely knocked her closer to the cliff wall.
Next up...
"Sonic Boom!"
After Demonic Sword Invasion, a certain luster appeared on Bai Luo's sword—a damage amplification buff from the previous skill.
Followed by a SonicBoom, he carried Torachiyo with him and slammed hard into the cliff face.
Fortunately, this inherently buggy skill was reliable this time, and the "passing through the opponent" glitch didn't occur.

The moment he drew the second sword, Bai Luo teleported behind the marked Torachiyo.
The skill's wind-up animation finished during the teleportation. The moment Bai Luo appeared behind her was exactly when StarburstStream took effect.
Brilliant sword lights flickered.
The cliff wall and Torachiyo's body were covered in slash marks from StarburstStream.
"ROAR!"
By the time Bai Luo finished the FirstForm, Torachiyo had regained consciousness and slapped a paw toward Bai Luo.
Crossing his dual swords, Bai Luo barely blocked Torachiyo's attack.
However, his knees buckled, and he was nearly forced to the ground by the slap.
"It's not over yet!"
Steeling his heart, Bai Luo released the lock of his dual swords, allowing the claw—whose force he had partially deflected—to strike his body.
Even with the force deflected, Torachiyo's claw wasn't something just anyone could tank.
But StarburstStream provided damage reduction, so while the slap made Bai Luo grimace in pain, he didn't suffer overly severe injuries.
With the dual swords alternating, the SecondForm was unleashed.
Five consecutive slashes followed. Even Torachiyo couldn't handle it and was forced to retreat repeatedly.
"Third Form!"
When the ThirdForm was unleashed, an accident finally occurred.
Amidst the dazzling sword lights, Torachiyo managed to track Bai Luo's trajectory and bit down directly onto the blade of the Elucidator, forcibly stopping Bai Luo's slash.
One must remember, Torachiyo was an existence that had chewed the Raiden Shogun's naginata to pieces; her teeth were extraordinarily strong.
Fortunately, she bit the Elucidator and not the more fragile DarkRepulser.
Otherwise, Bai Luo really wasn't sure if his sword would have survived.
Trying to pull it back, Bai Luo found he couldn't budge it at all, so he simply teleported to a lingering sword shadow.
Bai Luo and his sword disappeared simultaneously, causing Torachiyo to bite down on empty air.
It might have been an illusion, but Bai Luo actually saw sparks fly from her teeth snapping together.
Truly terrifying...
After landing, Bai Luo leaned forward slightly, holding the Elucidator and DarkRepulser at his sides.
FinalForm activated. Bai Luo, wielding dual swords, transformed into an arrow leaving the string, creating a sonic boom as he rushed toward Torachiyo.

Both swords plunged deep into her chest, right up to the hilts. The frenzied Torachiyo finally quieted down.
Her intact right claw raised slightly, but ultimately dropped down weakly.
Pulling out his dual swords, Bai Luo rotated his shoulder, which had been hit earlier, intending to turn and leave.
But soon, he realized something.
Why didn't the System notify him that the trial was complete?
