In fact, only a couple of people were affected by the mental attack from the monsters and Leng Pan had discreetly created a very thin mist barrier made of spiritual spring water around them.
This had protected them from any further attacks, but they were still expected to pretend to be in pain.

"Mmh? Don't zombies usually follow sound and smell? They must have smelled us from afar and came." Lu Tao replied matter of factly.
"How did they manage to smell us with Momo covering us?" Leng Pan asked again.
Some of them didn't know Momo's superpower but others did.
Any area that Momo covered would become invisible. Not in the physical sense, but it would be as if it was not there.
Even someone standing next to them would ignore them.
However, those monsters had clearly come from far and they were the target.
