The first arrow missed and only brushed the arm of the zombie. It didn't even do much damage except for scraping some flesh, which wasn't a big deal since the flesh was rotten and falling anyways.
It didn't even alert the zombie of loaming danger and it kept moving forward following the smell of living humans.
Other zombies were the same and the group was soon fighting with everything they had to kill as many zombies as possible and not get hurt or scratched themselves.

The arrow shot out with a speed that no human could compete with and before anyone could blink, it embedded itself at the throat of the zombie.
