"What were you doing here?" Amelia asked as soon as she saw Kyle moving around the corner.
The man looked at her briefly and then remembered the pain in his heart when he saw the mark on Cyrus's neck while his neck was still bare of any mark, and just looked away.
Something was wrong.
Amelia could feel it in her bones.
Though she was clear she loved Cyrus from the bottom of her heart, she just couldn't ignore Kyle either.
His ignorance was squeezing her heart painfully.
She rushed forward and held his hand.
"I am talking to you," She furrowed her brows.
Kyle looked at her briefly and yanked his hand free from her grip, walking to the secluded part of the hospital as the girl followed him.
"I was here to meet your husband and warn him against future attacks on him," Kyle said.
His words made Amelia's pupils dilate.
She quickly stood before him and grabbed his hands in hers.
