Alex and the girls spent an entire week having continuous sex, their sessions only gradually tapering off over the following month until things finally settled and their routine returned to normal. Their sex life wasn't usually this intense or time-consuming, but there were a number of reasons why it had continued for so long.
One was the fact that Alex hadn't had sex for nearly a year, leaving him backed up. Another was that his newfound experience with love brought an addictive intensity that mirrored his battlelust, making him more susceptible to accepting any of the girls' advances rather than focusing on training or work.
Their shift into a more committed relationship with him, rather than the vague sex life they had previously shared, was another factor. There was also Alex's sweetness whenever they activated his trigger. The girls simply couldn't resist wanting to see more of Alex's newer side, which often led right back to more sex.
Alex didn't complain, of course. He was enjoying the new emotions, as well as the lessened burden of guilt now that he was finally able to reciprocate the girls' feelings properly. As for any sense of loving one girl more than the others, it hadn't reached that point yet. They were too busy having sex for him to notice any difference in preference.
Once they were back to a working schedule, Alex finally had time to check up on his recent recruits. He focused specifically on the Lucario nest, as well as his three new attackers who had been training in formations non-stop since they were recruited.
The Lucario nest was overall doing well. They were enjoying their newfound peace in the patch of forest north of the property. They even managed to defend against a flood, greatly reducing the number of Pokémon that managed to make it out of the forest for Rhea's drones to gun down.
If there were any problems to point out, it would be that Lucario's Champion ranked aura had greatly reduced the severity of the flood, affecting those who chose to jump over the wall and, in turn, reducing the number of Pokémon they could harvest from the yearly flood. This, however, was immediately offset by the Lucario nest going out to hunt the nearby Pokémon around the property, ensuring their nest received better food than the Expert ranked kibble Alex had promised them.
With a peaceful environment and an abundance of high-ranked food, it was inevitable that the nest began increasing their numbers. Fortunately, there were more than enough bounty hunters interested in these powerful Pokémon, reducing their numbers and maintaining balance.
Even those who didn't want to fight were offered to the employees at the base for a significant discount as an added perk, ensuring their loyalty and hard work. The Buneary and Mienfoo were especially popular with the children.
As for Alex's three new attackers, namely the Shiny Lucario, Gallade, and Lopunny, they had shown tremendous progress with their formations and were more than ready to join the main team when Alex went out to hunt. Not that he had any plans to do so anytime soon, considering the significant amount of meat they had in storage. It could easily last them a decade without trouble.
Unfortunately, even if their formations were polished and their proficiencies up to par, Gallade and Lopunny were still at Expert rank. It would take some time for them to match their leader, Lucario, at Elite rank, even with their new Elite ranked diet.
As for the base and its bounty hunters in training, numbers constantly rose and fell each month as more bounty hunters graduated and new recruits joined the training. Simone had taken the lead in organizing everything for Celise, greatly reducing her burden, while Lyra and Mika took over their old positions from Lily and Emma, their apprentices, who were given the other vacant positions.
Lyra and Mika wanted to slow down with Alex and focus on empowering their Pokémon through training and their stockpile of Champion ranked meat. They weren't as close as Sable to reaching Champion rank, but they were in a better position compared to the rest of the bounty hunters and the girls.
Overall, this meant that the bounty hunter side was in good hands.
The Silver Network as a whole was also starting to garner a good reputation with the League, as more bounty hunters went out and collected bounties under the name of the Silver Network. They were getting closer to fulfilling the requirements for the League to grant them the status necessary to start earning contribution points as an organization, rather than as a group of individuals.
Lastly, there was the base and the many staff members who had been recruited, as well as their families. Needless to say, they were more than happy with the luxurious accommodations, even the cleaning staff, who often had the help of an army of Minccino, the children of Alex's Cinccino.
The employees were very satisfied with their work and compensation, to the point that they had started saving up for Pokémon for their children, intending to allow them to become bounty hunters or at least trainers. It was an easy decision, considering the whispers about how much the average bounty hunter made and spent regularly.
It had gotten to the point where thirteen-year-old children and up were given classes on training Pokémon, hand-to-hand combat, and even shooting practice with guns. Of course, all the necessary precautions were taken to ensure that the guns were no more dangerous than a knife. With Metagross keeping a constant watch in rotation with Nyx's Rotom, it was easy enough to prevent any accidents.
"That concludes the report on the base's operations," Celise said.
"I guess it's my turn," Maris followed. "Hawk Delivery has completed its expansion all over Kanto, with a supply depot for the bounty hunters in every city, and is now prepared to start considering moving to the Johto region. All that is required is a Champion ranked trainer to guarantee our operation's safety."
"It can't be me," Alex said. "I'm locked down here in Kanto, and as easy as it is to teleport to Johto, I would be stretched thin if both regions encounter a problem at the same time. How are Morgan and Dale doing?"
"Morgan has expanded her group to over a hundred, recruited from the base by her replacement. Additionally, she has sent all of the victims of her busts to the base for Simone to handle," Nyx reported. "As for Dale, he managed to find a solution to his problem when he visited Bill on Route 25. It seems they were able to completely return everyone to being human and even fix their lack of aura."
"That's good," Alex said. "How far are they from reaching Champion rank?"
"A decade at the earliest, by my estimation," Nyx replied. "They haven't exactly been rolling in credits before they started their training. Now that they're able to take on bigger criminals, they're only just beginning to regularly feed their Pokémon Champion ranked meat."
Alex nodded and turned to Maris. "Solidify your hold on Kanto and prepare to move to Johto. Once either Dale or Morgan reaches Champion rank and agrees to support the Silver Network, you can move out and begin your expansion. But make sure you give the reins to someone else rather than taking the lead on your own. You can use the extra time you have to train up competent CEOs."
"Alright," Maris replied.
"Celise, how far are we from being certified by the League?"
"We've hit the ceiling on how much of a benefit we are by their standards, all we have to do now is maintain it for five years and pass an inspection before we become certified and start receiving contribution points as an organization."
"That'll take a while, then," Alex said, turning toward Rhea. "How's it going on your side?"
"Peachy." Rhea shrugged. "I'm more than stocked up on resources, so all I need is more time to build, research, and repeat. If you ask me, though, I think guns as a whole have hit their limit. It'll take a new material or principle to really start pumping out Champion ranked ammunition."
"That you're struggling is probably for the best," Alex remarked. "The less devastating guns are overall, the better."
"I wouldn't celebrate too soon." Rhea said. "I heard the Unova region recently signed a contract with Argent Solutions to mass-produce their latest firearms. From the sound of it, they're planning to build an army."
"That doesn't sound too bad," Alex said. "If it's League-certified, I'm sure they'll use those weapons properly."
"The problem is the funding boost Argent Solutions will get," Rhea said. "With operations that large, they could out-research me a hundred times over. Even Devon Corp's Champion ranked bullet might end up being mass-produced."
"Then let's hope Unova knows what it's doing," Alex said before looking around the room. "Are there any more updates?"
Receiving no response, Alex nodded before adding one last thing. "I'll be leaving for Interpol tomorrow to recruit more Pokémon. I might be away for a while, depending on their follow-up instructions."
