"Why don't you go take a seat old man," one of the employees at Blue lantern restaurant said, "we'll handle the rest."
"Are you saying I'm getting too old for this?" The old man said with mock anger, "back in my day, I used to run this place all alone."
The employee chuckled as she replied, "back in your day, people were patient enough to wait for good food Grandpa."
"If people these days can't wait, then they should just go ahead and leave," the old man said, "cooking is an art, and art is not to be rushed."
"Fine, fine, you win old man," the girl said with a smile, "I'll go wait the tables."
She looked no older than eighteen and was usually supposed to be at school, but today was a weekend, plus her grandpa had employed her at the blue lantern restaurant as a part-time employee and she wouldn't miss the chance to make some cash.
