The ruins of the old world stretched before him — quiet, fractured, and eerily familiar.

Aiden walked through the abandoned town, each step stirring up motes of light that once were dust, now fragmented code. Buildings flickered between solidity and void, their outlines collapsing into jagged pixels before reforming again, as if reality itself struggled to remember what it once was.

He had been here before.

The streets, though corroded by time and digital decay, still followed the same paths burned into his memory — a training ground, a marketplace, a fountain that once served as a meeting point for players. His senses tingled as echoes rippled through the data — laughter, footsteps, the murmur of voices that no longer existed.
