Chapter 15 "Initiative and Our Final Point"
It's December 2031, the GOC has lowered their guard on the north as they celebrated Christmas and at the point we have momentum, me and some of my subordinates wear the GOC uniform we stole away from the GOC in the previous operation, then we prepare to ambush the T.O.P Militia convoy truck that's going to Bastion Zero as we have to change the name due to the complicated name that was given by the GOC but whatever, as me and my troops prepare to ambush. We waited for more than several hours and eventually the convoy arrived, We prepared and when they got close enough, we immediately struck and attacked the convoy, catching them off guard.
The militia was confused and could not attack properly as they were not trained for these kinds of attacks except for how to use a firearm. After killing the militia we purposely leave a GOC insignia and to make it more convincing, we throw a GOC soldier whom we just killed in a nearby area, After that, we leave the convoy.
A few hours later, the militia in the bastion who don't know why the supply convoy hasn't yet come. They then send some of them to check and when they arrive, they found the insignia and the body of the GOC soldier we prepared before, immediately making them furious and when they return to the bastion, all of the militia heard this and got to the boiling point and angry to the point where they want to attack the GOC. With my first part of the plan succeding, I immediately led an attack on the north sides with a surprise attack when the GOC lower their guard, when the GOC realizes too late, we already infiltrated into their bastion and immediately attack the, some of them didn't wear their vest because they thought it's going to be a peaceful day on Christmas, on the other theater front, the war has started with the surprise attack on the north, the east front is opened up and the militia storm into the GOC vulnerable fort and defense giving them no time to prepare a counterattack.
Our successful attack on the north and capturing the bastion gave us 2 great things, those are that we finally got a supply line from sector Atharva and secondly we finally got the BTS tower we needed to contact the PMC we needed for their advisors.
After the war had ended in the north, Kiriyama went there and contacted the PMC, who responded "What do you want dear customer?"
Kiriyama spoke on the phone. "I want a Military advisor and some equipment blueprint."
The person on the other line spoke "Where?"
Kiriyama spoke again, "Sector Bacardi."
There's silence on the other side but eventually they spoke. "Alright then, we will arrive in 20 days." The call immediately ended after the guy spoke to the telephone, After that Kiriyama looked at me and nodded, confirming a foreign help is coming to our aid for a price that we must pay.
After that, we immediately destroy the bastion as we don't see any strategic use and immediately retreat leaving the bastion crumbled to the ashes and exploding into nothing but the GOC crimes themselves.
As we retreat to reinforce our soldier in the east front theater, I have a bad feeling in my mind but I constantly ignore it as I thought it as another low morale or something, but should I listen to it, no I have a job to do and that is to kick the GOC out of here and help the Atharva sector offensive.
Arriving at the east front, the GOC has forced to retreat once again to line 12, where they fortified all their material after dismantling their bastion to stop the T.O.P advance and they have call reinforcements while the reinforcements coming, it's going to take a while to coming to their lines of defense, well, they already like the Franca people in World War 1, considering they try to make the Maginot line.
Stalemate has been going on with neither sides having the advantage to attack because both is defending, when the other attack, it gets wiped out considering that we have the highest morale and the GOC suffers from the cartel that kept destroy their supply lines and poison their soldier with heroine and drugs, low morale is among the GOC soldier as they are on the breaking point, Kiriyama waits in the back while issue a suggestive to the commands in Sector Atharva, surprisingly they agree on hiring this as they are low on senior officers and instructors.
Considering that the Chaos Insurgency at the Sector Atharva was fighting a defensive war with a long stalemate that had already started in 2027, it made sense when they were low on senior members because they had to defend their lines of defence. While they sure do a counterattack but with their low supply and shortage of members and soldier, it's not worth it I say, considering they don't have advantage at this point, but because the GOC have fought on many sectors and area, it's much likely they will lose interest in one area while the rest will be prioritized.
Considering that most of the GOC unit was drafted and put in Sector Atharva, it's likely that the GOC in Sector Atharva will take over the sector and capture the surrendered Chaos Insurgency before sending them into Sector Echo to face the worst punishment according to the rumour from our intelligence. Well, it's not surprising for the GOC to do cruel things to their POW as they control the rules and the ones who make them. Confirming the intel that's crucial to shatter the GOC hegemony was necessary and needed for us to advance deeper to the GOC heart or their HQ, but with the stalemate, it's not possible for now but we will achieve it once we have the opportunity once more, for now. I think it's best to improve our logistics.
A few weeks has passed, and neither side have made a new move, too scared to attack, and from our intelligence in the HQ has informed that the GOC in this sector will receive a help from F leet Arkansas moving here bringing thousands of soldiers ready with high morale and tank to breakthrough our lines of defense considering that there's no more forest in this frontline then armored vehicle was an options to breakthrough but with the GOC here have to face the cartel that keeps backstabbing them and poison their soldier with drugs and heroine, much likely it's results the same or worse.
Moreover, the GOC have to fight many wars at the same time to take over or install a puppet government that agrees to them. Those who immediately obeyed were not harmed and instead became a governor in their area or country under GOC jurisdiction. Those who opposed were immediately terminated and removed from history like what happened in the Socialist Republic of Indies, much worse heh? Like an old story, a dictator who has been removed from history is then portrayed as bad and then create a new history is created, such a shit and bullshit.
