Arthur was examining the destroyed shop as Matthew tapped his shoulder and asked, "That Raven dude actually sent us here without telling us much other than blabbering about abnormal missing people."
Arthur replied, "It's a mission, plus it is not anything other than an investigation."
Matthew looked at the destroyed shop as she knelt down and examined the books that were on the floor. "Must be a stationery."
Arthur walked out of the shop as he checked the road, "This is Wells District's central road."
Matthew nodded, "Wait, let me check."
Matthew took out a small map from his pocket, which he bought when they came new to this city, to not get lost while finding the manor of the Tan family before getting pushed into this group.
"This is the road that leads to Topez's main area; do you think they have a hand in these incidents?" Matthew questioned.
Arthur, who was checking the table drawers, answered, "I don't know; maybe they are having a secret experiment where they imbue humans with extra magic."
Matthew rolled his eyes as he answered, "Let's put this proposal to the leader and see how hard he will laugh."
Arthur scoffed, "Ready whenever you are."
Matthew, who fixed his hair with his hand, replied, "Well, getting to the point, we are not finding anything here, nor did we on the site before this."
Arthur nodded, "This area of the city has been vacated for a short while."
Matthew looked at the weather outside from the glass on the wooden door. "The sun is missing; maybe Luna is playing with him and casting shadows over the sun, as she is the goddess of shadows and other things which I forgot."
Arthur got up and walked towards the gate too. "You're too forgetful."
Arthur and Matthew got out of the station, and as they walked on the wide road, droplets of rain started falling from the sky.
"It's raining," Arthur confirmed.
Slowly the rain, which was just a few droplets from the sky, began raining heavily as the tiny droplets became fast, and many droplets came along with cold winds; along with them, clouds started crackling.
"Guess gods weren't happy with our jokes." Matthew said.
"Gods aren't free enough to be offended by our jokes." Arthur elbowed Matthew.
When Matthew went inside to search in the shop, Arthur noticed a silhouette on the slanted roof of one building as his eyes widened and he placed his hand slowly on the wand in his pocket, "Matth!" He barked.
Matthew, who was kneeling and searching for any clues or footprints, heard Arthur's loud voice; he quickly took his wand and opened the door and rushed out as he saw Arthur look at a roof of a building.
"There is someone there," Arthur informed.
"But wasn't this area empty?" Matthew questioned.
"Indeed it is." Arthur confirmed as he took out his wand and barked, "Tragiculus!"
A purple magic circle formed on his wand as a small purple bolt came out and flew at a fast speed towards the silhouette. The silhouette disappeared before the bolt reached it.
Arthur's eyes widened as he held Matthew's hand. Matthew followed and examined the area; his eyes widened as he saw a spinning scythe in the air slashing through falling water coming towards them at a fast speed.
"Arthur, get down!" Matthew barked.
Arthur followed and ducked under the spinning scythe as it flew from the top of them.
Suddenly they saw the same silhouette flying in the air as it caught the scythe in midair and descended on the floor.
Arthur squinted his eyes to look at it, and he noticed the silhouette was of a woman, a woman that equalled Robert's height, with tall black hair that was tied in a bun, and she was wearing a black trench coat with golden buttons.
Matthew noticed her ears; they were pointy. He looked at Arthur and said slowly, "She is an elf; we don't have enough strength to fight her... Plus, we were also denied to fight anyone... Should we return?"
Arthur as he swished his wand in the air, and a void surrounded them. After a while they reached the same underground basement, the main hall of the group, where they were.
Arthur walked towards Raven's door and knocked on it.
Knock, knock.
The door creaked open by itself as Arthur saw Raven was sitting on a table filling out paperwork in the room; it was medium, with several bookshelves, white walls, and a designed ceiling in the room.
Raven looked up from the papers and asked, "Any finding or evidence about something?"
