Robert was walking through the mirror house, trying all the ways. After some time of exploring, he reached a large gate. Once he opened the gate, the cold air hit him like a breeze. He saw a grass field, the night sky devoid of stars and a crescent moon, and at a distance, a grand and tall tower. Moss had grown over it, and the rust on its metal door indicated its age. It was a beautiful sight. It was a gothic tower that was very tall, its spires pierced through the skies.
Wow…
Robert felt strangely attracted to it… like he was being drawn to it. But suddenly, he started hearing the same voice that was about to drive him mad in the vision.
Save me… save me… save me
The voice belonged to a girl. It was soft, but it carried desperation, despair, sadness, and guilt.
But it suddenly stopped, and he saw the same silhouette from before he was about to fall in the Cosford in his vision. The figure appeared averagely tall. She had long, golden hair and was wearing a dark blue noble dress. Her hair was braided, though some strands were left loose.
The same woman…
She was walking out of the same gothic structure that Robert was admiring. He looked at her, feeling nauseous. His chest started feeling heavy as he collapsed to his knees, clutching his shirt tightly and holding the door handle.
The woman saw him and slowly started walking toward him, looking at him and saying,
"Rohit, you can't embrace Robert Smith… you weren't supposed to be anywhere… no matter how much you try."
Robert's chest started to have an uncomfortable pain as the woman got closer, walking one step at a time slowly.
The woman stepped; her pupils shifted slightly up as if looking behind Robert, and then Robert felt a tug on the collar of his shirt as he was pulled back into the mirror dimension.
The woman in front of Robert, her dark blue dress glistening slightly in the moonlight, muttered something slowly, but Robert was able to hear it clearly.
"Meteorvis shovrus, marvis usmars garsh."
As he heard it, his vision started fading as he was being dragged, being sure it was an entity of the mirror house.
This is the end of me… but why does she want to be saved, from who?
…
Robert started hearing a conversation, two voices… one of a female, the other of a male. It seemed like the female's voice was loud and the male's voice was almost trying to defend himself.
"But I made sure no connections to stray dimensions were made before summoning all the subjects here…"
"No? I acknowledge that all the other subjects were sent safely back to our world, but this subject was about to become lost in the loops of stray dimensions!"
His eyes opened. He moved his pupils around and saw that he was lying on the ground in water that he didn't feel. The sun on the horizon shined on the empty land beautifully. He saw a man standing beside him silently, folding his arms.
"Hans?" Robert recognized him.
The man looked at Robert and then looked back at the fighting people. "Robert has awakened."
Both Raven and Jing looked at Robert. Suddenly Jing walked over to Robert and kneeled beside him, checking his pulse.
"Normal… are you alright?" she said.
"I don't know… but I am happy to see other people." Robert said.
Robert then got up and looked at Raven. "Did you send me to the mirror house, mistakenly?"
Raven shook his head in denial as he said, "You were sent to a stray dimension and were about to be sucked into insanitanious dimensions… but you're safe here, and we rescued you in time, slacker."
Suddenly Jing interrupted, "No, I saved him," she argued.
"Thank you, Sir Raven, and you miss… but what are stray dimensions?" Robert asked.
"Worlds that ended the way they weren't supposed to be," Raven answered, his voice serious as if remembering something from the past.
Jing sighed and said, "I am going back to Astrid, and you, Raven… hold Robert's hand before going to your dimension."
She took her wand and pressed it against her neck and vanished, leaving a magic circle behind for some seconds.
"I will explain this to both of you once we reach back in Cosford." Raven held Robert's hand and signaled Hans to hold his arm.
As Hans walked forward, he held his arm, and suddenly the scene in front of them vanished, replaced by the lecture hall they recognized.
